What does "Yeah, no" mean?

Yes? No? Maybe?

I use that phrase to mean this:

"Yes, I have thought about it and given the subject its due dilligence, ...and, no."

'Yeah' is acknowledging that you heard the question.

'No' is the answer to the question.

I like to say that after I've already given a long winded explanation. Makes the comment even more ambiguous.

I'm interested in finding out the twist on how this is moto related Blink
Have you ever seen a rider interview?

They all have nervous twitches and sayings. I don't really read into it but I definitely notice it. It's fun to talk about to pass the time.

"I can't thank my sponsors" is another really good saying. Haha.

Yes, I comprehend what you said. No, I disagree with your statement, analogy, or words you are putting in my mouth.

See, I thought the same, but I have heard it used in agreement as well.

(I.e.: "yeah, no... For sure." As MxKing809 recalls.)

TREY CANARD, so annoying, at least it's not as bad as almost every rider in the 90's saying "you know" after every sentence

It's a way for the intellectually deficient to identify themselves. They're also the ones incapable of thanking.

Yeah, nah = No.

Nah, yeah = Yes.

In Aussie: "Yeah, nah, get fucked mate, I'm not doing that."

"Nah, yeah mate, fucking great, let's do it."

Since, in a way, we're talking about illiterate comments.....How about "I seen that?" A classic home schooled RC comment.

I will say that anyone that races professional motocross is way more badass than I am, and I don't mean to hate at all. Some of these podium robot speech habits trickle down through the majority of the pro ranks every few months and I wonder if anyone else notices them going on constantly.

Let me fix it for you Doc.... Since, in a way, we're talking about illiterate comments.....How about, "I seen that."? A classic home schooled RC comment. Perhaps you should 'preparate' a little better before you throw off on someone's education.
