Nope :-( If he was back in time for say the last couple rounds, you think Honda would bother racing them? I don't think we'll see him for SX this year anymore. Hope he's 100% for outdoors

I've broken bones and I've also dislocated joints. The dislocations were always more painful and took longer to heal. Hoping for a full and speedy recovery for KR94.

Wow. As said before, lucky that is all that is wrong. But, what is wrong is going to take a lot of time to heal correctly.

Bummed for him.

Looks so nasty, but it could have been so much worse. I was shocked and relieved that he was able to walk away with nothing more than a splint on his arm. Get well Kenny and see you May 29th-we hope.

Now I wish I had skipped breakfast.......

I'm kind of shocked that they didn't stop the race to get him out of there to be honest.

Best of luck to Ken. Man, I'm so gutted for him but at least he's still relatively OK, could've been a lot worse with how he landed.

That crash literally made me sick to my stomach. Really surprised he's not in worse shape. Hope he heals right and fast.

I was waiting for them to stop the race. I wouldn't be shocked if we didn't see him until next year. The mental side of it is what would be the hardest part for me to recover from. Get well Kenny and wish you the best!

Everybody is talking about the physical recovery, but how does he recover from this mentally? Do you think he can reach that speed and confidence again? I'm not meaning to be negative at all, I've just never had crash that severe and don't know how it would affect ones confidence.

Dungey broke his neck and there were some reports that he narrowly avoided a much more severe result and he seems to have recovered fine mentally. I think it depends on the individual but KR strikes me as a guy that will bounce back mentally.

That will be a challenge for sure.

Don't know if you can walk away from that mentally.

I had a crash years back and it took a while (almost 2 years) to ride with the same confidence.
From that day i was thinking of every jump i take and thats till today.
I don't jump doubles or triples anymore starting that day.

He has exactly 117 days before gate drops at Hangtown. Which is 3 months and 27 days.

He may not even be back on the bike by then, let alone race ready.

Hoping for a full recovery. He was riding awesome and he dominated outdoors last year. Really looked like he was coming into his stride.

I did this back in 2005, it's never been the same, 3 hour surgery, came up short on an arenacross triple. Same bone as Kenny, elbow dislocated too, my elbow still locks up if bent for too long.

That is so messed up! But it still amazes me that he walked away from that without any other injuries. Hopefully we'll se him back for the nationals.

That arm is gnarly but thankfully no serious head or chest injuries, it could have been so much worse.... Wishing him a speedy and full recovery...

The crash was painful to watch, and the pic from the hospital just as gnarly. If Kenny hadn't been in the race shape he was in, the damage could have been even worse. I was rooting for my dude, RD to take the title...but sure wanted he and Roczen to battle to the end and provide some great racing for the fans too. Tough deal. Hope he gets back for the outdoors.

I just hope Kenny can come back as himself and be the same rider. Whether that's the outdoors this year, or in 12 months time, just wishing for a full recovery with no complications
