After he got by Reed he was 4 seconds back. Why didn't he close in on that?
Latching on, seeing lines, and just general flow/momentum can make a huge impact, especially when you are talking tenths of seconds a lap.

Its probably been brought up in the dozens of posts A working man scrapes together money to buy a overpriced ticket ,drives who knows how far ,hopes for a battle of the 2 titans.

Damn shame a grown man has such thin skin.

At a NASCAR race that would got you a 24 pack of full beers thrown on your car on the cool down lap,
And Dungy cost us all when he T boned JS7 at A1 last year.

Im going to remember how Dungey could have made a statement pass and reeled ET back in but opted to sit for 3 laps then lose 4 more seconds to him once he was cleared

I have never believed in the 'move over' thing in any type of racing.

After all Dungey has accomplished over the years, gotta love the "Dungey has nothing for (insert name here...Roczen, Tomac, Villopoto etc.)" yet he still wins titles. Only time will tell this year but my money is still on Dungey......and yes Chad Reed is a disgrace to his team, sponsors and fellow riders.....good luck next year Chad.

so if Chad didn't cost you money last night, how bout you shut yer trap
I dont think thats very fair. This is a forum, and he has a right to an opinion, just as you do. So how about you show some common courtesy and act like a good member of Vital rather than a Vitard? He did cost me money, because I paid for the satellite programming to watch that race live, and I allocated time, and time is money my friend.

I am sure you were trying to be funny and the tone is lost on a screen.

Why don't we start a class action suit? I was traumatized by the whole thing and it gave me PTSD.Shocked

My biggest problem is how inconsistent and arbitrarily the rules are enforced. Angry

My opinion is that flags need to be reinforced. Jump 50 centimeters during a red cross flag and you are docked and burnt alive. But keep the leaders 1 lap running a wide bike and it is all good. Blue flags were not all over the place so I am sorry to say that as it is exceptional but the crew seemed to be less professional than usual (I.e. Barcia incident). Still in over a lap anybody should be able to see it so i don't get why the black flag was not out.

Come on this is ridiculous. You don't see me complaining about me being pissed off at Eli when he destroyed the competition in Toronto. I'm not sitting here complaining about how he wasted my money because he didn't let anybody have a chance. Racing is racing. If you watch supercross on tv at all you know that not every race in a head to head battle, in reality almost none of them are. Dung is unwilling at this point to be aggressive and push the envelope so even if he did catch Eli he wouldn't have won the race.

Maybe spend only half the time you do on vital today. Get that "time" back.

Shall we talk about tickets? Like every year that they have been available, I bought tickets in the 300 section at the STL supercross. The 300 section is the uber section featuring better food, better seats, a perfect view, and nearly no waiting for food/drinks/bathrooms. However... this year that was not the case. There was No Food to be found in the 300 level, and the line for drinks was around a half hour. We actually went back and forth between the 400 section to get food and drinks. The ticket price stayed the same, while the quality of the experience went way down. This has nothing to do with the Reed/Dungey debacle, just saying that after losing the Rams that the Dome in the STL isn't what it used to be.

Being ticked at what was said and sending a message by ignoring the blue flag for a section is one thing but 100% saying f the rules and deserving a black flag is another. Yes eli is on it right now but ryan was closing a little at the time and close enough that maybe eli would of gotten out of his snooze fest comfort zone and anything can happen. I say yes he cost the fans some front of the pack excitement. I was just watching at home but seeing ryan in the shots of eli I was getting excited for a better show before it got taken away.

Hey Flip, those of us experienced beer drinkers know to save our empty cans to throw. I think there's a formula that says once the can is down to the last 3 ounces, it falls in the "discardable for objectionable action" category. Tongue

I have been a huge Reed fan his whole career, but he was in the wrong on Saturday night. He should be suspended for his actions and put on probation the rest of the year.
