This is a topic we all think about at one point or another... We all know that guy. Share your experiences of that one guy you know who wants people to know he rides. I'll share more experiences once the thread goes on.

But it is funny that when I meet people I usually leave out the fact that I race dirt bikes. If you find that out its because I get to know you more or my friend told you. I don't want motocross to be the only thing people think they can talk to me about...

I'm with you guys that don't bring it up when meeting new people, especially women. Being a decent racer is a lot like being rich. It's attractive, but I'd rather people like me for other reasons, or not like me at all.
