I think Aldon Baker could have made KR even better but RC is not an amateur either on the mental & physical aspects to win. I think RC knows who to hire to make the bike a rocket too. KR likes the bike, plus they have the resources to be upfront.

What really killed KR's season is an injury (and now another one), nothing less, nothing more. Otherwise he is the only one able to run with RD and Tomac, or Canard and Reed when they gets the start.

He was leading the championship at the beginning of the season, so their program looks great, at least they demonstrated that in SX with Wins ! Not many teams can give a run at KTM right now and I think they are representing Suzuki very well.
Reed had two great starts and dropped back fast.

Reading this thread in it's entirety is funny. Some of us nailed it on the head while other's couldnt have whiffed harder.
Tell me again how KTM and Aldon couldve helped him from Reed hitting his wheel and from casing another jump?

Pretty funny, kenny was killing sx on the Suzuki. The bike and equipment are good. As for the outdated bike compared to ktm? Yamaha etc. The number one aspect of a bike is the chassis, anyone can build a good engine. Ktm has a huge weight advantage. I think it is really interesting to see where bikes are headed. Yamaha has a huge advantage with their motors, ktm has a huge weight advantage and a great motor. The factories are getting to a point where technology has peaked for the moment, and it will be all about creative weight saving/distribution and chassis setup.

I remember thinking the same thing when Ricky made the switch to Suzuki...WTF? He's going to ride those POS's??? Didn't he break a clutch or something...
I remember thinking the same thing when Ricky made the switch to Suzuki...WTF? He's going to ride those POS's??? Didn't he break a clutch or something in his very first formal ride on them? History says they got things figured out okay... Whistling

It might be easy to confuse the bikes on the showroom floors with the ones out on the National tracks.
From a recent Chaparral ad:
2014 450's
Honda $7,878
Yamaha $6,490
Kawasaki $5,999
Suzuki.... $4,799
Looks like they are having a tough time giving them away! (Even at that price I would not tough one with a ten foot pole! Seems I am not alone)
Maybe the production bikes are not "good enough," but the factory bikes and teams have proven to be in the past. Will be interesting to watch it play out...
Barnett clutch went South.

Equating Kenny Watson to Larry Brooks is about the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

There was nothing dumb in my statement.

They have won Supercross races and they were leading the series until Kenny got hurt. That is pretty damn good.

Of course it's Watson, RC and Hart that caused Kenny to wreck so you are correct, they cant handle a great rider....

This sport is brutal, but that team and Kenny will win again they are a top teir team.

With Kenny leaving at the end of this season, my prediction also stands true. Roczen was never going to win a title with this squad.
