If James Stewart was treated so badly by the industry then do ya think Malcolm would be racing right now? James would have been treated like royalty, like he always was by the factories. All the names you listed K-dub14, CR22, RC4 and yes even JS7 are all still very much involved in the sport. Those dudes are set financially. You got it backwards brah you need to be talking about the privateers and factory supported guys regarding career earnings..

I see a lot of his videos pop up on my suggested list for YouTube. I’ve watched a few. Hard to watch for sure but watching his videos are better than having Rutledge on the night show

Gotta give this guy some credit.. he came a long way from the interviews a couple years back, I think he has taken the criticism on board..
Not my cup of tea, but the guests he sometimes he gets are not the people that will go on pulp (my go-to) so I’ll give him a listen. He is constantly improving and has a solid future if he continues to work on his product...

He literally describes how he dislikes having to use click bait titles, but Youtube's algorithm pretty much forces him to do so. I can testify to that. Boring titles = no views. If he's breaking through to new audiences too that's good, right?

I don't know what some of you guy's problems are. His main motivation seems to be a love of supercross/motocross. He bigs the riders up and wants to tell stories. All the good stuff. Guys like him, who kinda get the publicity game, tend to repel those already in a sport, I get that, but when your sport doesn't have this kind of content, you're probably not a particularly healthy sport.

I cringe at about 90% of the content created for F1, but it's the biggest motorsport in the world, and by quite some margin.

Malcolm is a separate person from James and as such had different deals and negotiations. I'm sure when James was still on Kawasaki the deals involved support for Malcolm too. The only constant between the two has been Se7en gear, but everything else has been separate. James being treated wrong by the industry wouldn't really have an impact on Malcolm. Malcolm is going to go racing and make his own deals regardless of how James is treated. Gypsy isn't wrong though, there are other examples of the industry treating the elite guys like crap. Example, Villopoto, and Kawasaki. RV gave Kawasaki a lot of wins and sold a lot of bikes for them over his professional career. Can't remember a gate drop that wasn't a sea of green back when RV was on 250s. Fast forward to RV retiring. For a while, RV is taking part in some training and testing sessions for the new guys, but slowly Kawi stops calling and doesn't want Ryan's help. There were many PulpMX podcasts where Mathes would cold call Ryan and ask how things are and hows training going. Ryan would respond by saying, "Waiting for the phone to ring" or "Sitting on my couch." There were instances where Ryan was calling the team and saying, "Hey if you need my help I'm available." We all know how things eventually went but I think that's pretty low for a company to essentially ghost their best guy and resent his help in training the up-and-coming team guys. RV didn't achieve all those wins by sheer luck and if he is still wanting to donate his time and expertise to essentially give the team a better chance to win you have to be pretty dumb or really arrogant to refuse that.

James dealt with his fair share of mistreatment. I remember the story from Southwick 2007 where a group of fans were yelling the N word at him every lap and then called his mom the same thing when she confronted them. Real nice thing for a 21 year old to deal with.

Obviously for the most part people adored James and admired his ability. But it definitely wasn’t all that way.

That’s what I’m saying I searched for that mike grondahl guys podcast on YouTube and only could find clips, I guess you can only listen to the whole podcast on the Apple podcast app?
