Read the surprising candid comments from AP7 and MM25 and on Chad Reed’s Instagram post earlier this week. Doesn’t sound like the team is overly satisfied with the handling of the new bike.

By the admission of nearly everyone involved, yes. Look for changes in the 2023.5 factory edition to confirm.

I think it definitely hindered him. Maybe not all the bike but he didn't seem able to turn it on a dime like years past that for sure.

Showed up at round one last year running his mouth about "Best Off Season Ever" then had the worst title defense in the history of the sport.

At this point, he should probably just keep his mouth shut until he's able to run at the front end of the pack again.

I would normally agree.. but dude has admitted to being super burnt out... when a big name pro says that, it's just a matter of time, and typically not long, until they hang the A-stars up...

they start these kids too young.. they lose their childhoods, then are burnt completely crispy by 25.... but, gotta get'em while they are young and dumb or they would never do it as a "career" choice.....

Normally I say no but with coop I’m going to say yes. If you watch coop his strength (besides his mental toughness) is being able to break late and hard and cut low in corners. He just was not able to do that last year.

If you watch footage of his championship years you can see it. Watch where they hook back down a start straight. Coop is breaking hard, his front brake control is amazing. Half the time the rear tire is slightly off the ground, almost like a reverse start. You don’t see that on the new bike.

I'd say, if Star lands Roczen (as rumor has it...) for 2023 and they already have Tomac & Ferrandis...they might not have the bank for Cooper in '24 unless they cut somebody (or Tomac retires) even if they are past "buddies".

i think its more of the way coop rides , his style just didnt gel with the 22 KTM ,but with everybody having their individual issues with the bike from RJ to mookie early on to AP to marv weirdo eli type races at certain points in the season etc...... where theres smoke theres fire

When a rider runs from outdoors, where he's never been good on a 450, to go beat up on weekend warriors at local races I don't think we're allowed to list "mental toughness" as an attribute anymore

Biggest difference is Roczen bitches about a bike Sexton is winning on. Webb had a lot of the same bitches as Marv and AP about the new KTM.
