He's probably really stoked about this 360 Fly sponsorship issue and I am sure he is riding poorly because of it. Feld and Monster need to make a decision and figure out whether they want this to be a racing series or a reality show.

Running outside sponsors out of the sport in an attempt to monopolize their brand and the brand of series sponsors is just plain stupid. They need to realize that without the racers they do not have a reality show. How exciting would the main events be when they are comprised primarily of a select few top caliber racers and the rest of the gate being filled by a bunch of trust fund kids that are 10 seconds a lap off the pace?

That's what it will be like if they continue to rob the top riders of sponsorship dollars. From a financial standpoint the sport is already gasping for air and this type of attitude will surely finish it off at some point. Look at Indy Car racing for example. It took the series 20 years to finally recover (at least partially) from bad decision making and the greed of the sanctioning body.

Wait .... he is riding poorly because of a camera sponsorship issue? Does that statement make sense in your world?

He looked way off the whole day. I wouldn't be surprised if he is dealing with some kind of issue.

I thought he was quite good on the main. He was 18th after firts lap, and came to 9th. I did not see him in tv though.

I would consider 18th to 9th a good ride on a bad night. Shame his last lap mistake hampered his efforts.

I was about to post a "what happened to Reedy" thread until I saw this. He was totally not even in the picture Saturday night, to the point where I don't think I even noticed Ralph or Fro mention his name during their commentary. And, with field like it is, if he doesn't get a start then it's over. Hope he regroups & shows what he can do next week.

And...we've still got ten races left! Who knows?

I had Weimer for 11th on the rmfantasysx wildcard and reed screwed me on the last lap. Would've been a perfect sweep as I got the top 5 right. Sad

Doesn't seem to be the issue. Lap 16 was his fastest, 17 and 18 were comparable.

His reaction was slow and he seems to lose time getting over the gate.

Its commonly known that Chad's speed is directly related to his attitude. When he is happy he is fast and sometimes the opposite occurs.

Yeah, he all of a sudden ran a 1:27.. I guess he had 19 laps in him, just not 20!

As with all the other riders not on the podium... bad start = poor results ...its that simple

In the past a top rider can have a bad start and fight their way through the pack, these days not so much...in fact its very rare now. Not due to their own ability but track design and other rider depth/speed plays a big part.
