I think Broc is wrong on the points. They decide the overall based on moto points not finishes don't they? Either way the penalty is 2 point lost in the championship.

So wait a minute... If tomac average lap time was 2:02.520 and sexton average was 2:02.426 doesn't sexton win?

EDIT: I didn't realise they don't count the first lap. Dur. Missed the -:--- looking at bottom line

I hear ya. I think the first moto was a pretty good gauge. Steady 11-12th until the crash.

Pala is his home track, so I'm curious if they let him go next weekend.

He certainly had a "Welcome to the pros" kinda day.
He'll progress fast, just as a lot of them do.
His speed was decent running just outside the top 10 considering it was his first go at a national.
He's also still on his amateur bike(I'd assume its not as good as the other star bikes possibly - controversial).
