Such a legend!
It won’t be the same without him, he looked great tonight too!

That was excellent. It made me laugh at the people that talk smack on him, too.

Nope, DVR, skip through the fluff, and most of Ralph’s shrill Voice .

Mrs Reed sitting in seat #22 was kind of cool.
What seat did you expect her to be sitting in? For that segment.

Great segment for Speedy. Seeing him with his wife and kids and remembering when he first started racing in USA. Chad earned everything he has today! Elle looks amazing also!

I DVR'd the race. When was the segment? I fast forwarded through to the mains and can't seem to find it.

Man it has to kinda suck that there won't be any fans in the stands at his final race to give him the standing ovation he deserves. Gives us fans 20 years of greatness and he doesn't get to experience 70,000 fans on their feet yelling for him and him only

Me and my wife both did, as long time Reed fans. Always liked his style. Made shit happen when a ride wasn't there. Yamaha could redefine their two stroke line up just by having him as a test rider.

Reeds battled the best. beaten the best. Won the biggest events and races, had some of the most memorable moments in history good and bad.
Done it all and honestly done so much for the sport.
He's made us all cheer, all yell at anger. Love him or hate him he has been such a huge part of our sport.

From that iconic 03 season, To the peak 3 way battle to running and then to win on his own team.
Guy has done it all.

I hope he stays around the sport in some way.

Not just an Aussie legend, true legend in SX/MX.

Been a fan since he got too. Gonna miss him, mostly because he's what keeps my wife interested.

After Jeremy she latched on to Chad and now she's bummed. I'm bummed too honestly.

I was unable to watch... Anyone has video of it?

I didn't get choked up but someone must've been chopping onions in this godamn house!

It was a cool little segment, and as mentioned above it's a shame that there is no fans for the final rounds to see out his career. I was lucky enough to be at 5 of the first 6 rounds and man the crowd goes so much crazier for him over any other rider out there!

Absolutely agree, as a fan of the sport and life lessons in general I can totally admire him and elle's story. Tough, grit, determination, desire and seems like a true family man throughout it all. Well done 22! Well done. I'm not ashamed to say that he's someone I look up to and admire.

yeah that was pretty cool ..... we laughed when RC said...."man that guy kept me up at night or gave me nightmares" lol....something like that. To think of the era he started in: McGrath on his way out, Carmichael, Stewart, RV, Dungey, and now Tomac. That's a hell of a list of riders.

It’s gonna be a very sad day in SX land when Reedy is no longer on the gate.

Been my dude since the beginning. Watched him go from
The aggressive, young, proud Aussie. To the smart, silky smooth, fast champ. The guy is tough as nails and the story is absolutely inspiring. He did it his way the entire ride. No other rider has done the same and if it is repeated, most likely not as successful. The era of Ricky, James, and Chad was amazing. Kudos to the Reeds. Amazing career

i think people forget how amazing Reed was on that YZ 250, i remember watching him track down and pass Ricky so many times back in 2003 and 2005. he always raced against the absolute best of the best and he held his own and at times was THE man. i definitely got a little choked up, great segment they put together for him.

also, Ellie was in the stands to watch the race, not just for a TV segment.
