She's about done as she's going to get. I'm pretty happy with it and VERY happy that they canceled tomorrows race at Southwick because I was far from ready to race and I would be coming off of the couch with a new bike with 0.2 hrs on it and me with 0.0 mins of track riding. Not good in either case... :-)

It honestly doesn't look that much different than my 16 did but there's something about a "freshie". I stripped it down and greased everything and then put on my stuff.

* All orange plastic
* Custom built WP A-kit cone valve forks (Powerband Racing)
* Revalved rear shock with bladder kit and aluminum spring collars. (Powerband Racing)
* Neken SFS clamps
* Full FMF Ti carbon system.
* KTM powerparts skid plate
* Mika MC bend bars
* ARC composite levers
* KTM Powerparts plastic skid plate
* Front and rear holeshot devices
* Rebuilt my wheels from last yr
* Tokyo Mods remap and reset my TPS voltage from the factory setting of .54 to .64
* Sunstar 49 rear sprocket with Sunstar MXR1 chain
* Pro Peg Ti and pegs and Ti brake pedal tip
* 125 or so titanium bolts.
* CRF450 axle and axle blocks.
I'm sure there are some other things that are escaping me at the moment. Time to race :-)

Thanks :-) Its a stock cover that I bought on ebay for $25. I had my powder coating buddy try to match the Hinson color as best that he could. It's very close but just has too much shine to it.

Bike looks great. What do you gain by using the CRF axle? Is it just for easier chain adjustment?

Very nice bike digger. Good work on the cones.
But really I have southwick envy!. I grew up riding and racing sand tracks in NM so It's always been a dream of mine to line up at the wick! Someday.

Nice bike! ...nothing like taking a brand new bike & racing in sandy mud.....Southwick must be pretty wet for them to call it off....

Digger: Making Vitards feel poor since 2011.

This thing is sweet, what's the benefit of the CRF axle and blocks?

I only do it for the ease of chain adjustment but my factory KTM connection says that the team runs the same set up because it supposedly frees up the rear suspension. I've never noticed anything other than its WAY easier to adjust the chain :-)

Bike looks amazing! You build the best bikes!
My wife said after 60 TI bolts I was going to sleep outside if I bought another. So you must have a rad wife for how many you got.. lol
Racetech Titanium is by far and away the best to buy from.. yes the most expensive buy a long shot but you totally get what you pay for IMO.

I just did the CRF axle and axle block upgrade on my bike. I used the Yoshimura works axle blocks for the CRF, what block did you use? Or when you PC'ed the ignition cover you did the axle blocks as well?

How did you get the orange in the arc levers and the excel rims? I've only ever seen white with both of those did you do that part yourself.
Bike is amazing the attention to detail is insane. Very nice bike

Thanks brother :-) The ARC levers come with the aluminum mounting part anodized in orange if you buy the KTM Powerparts ARC levers. I called Ken at ARC last yr and he told me that little nugget :-) I had my graphics guy make those orange Excel rim decals for me when he was making my number plates graphics..

very well done mike! you guys going to nj sx?
Thanks Rob. I'm not sure if we're coming to NJ SX or not. If we do we're taking our RV and just staying in the parking lot afterwards because it took our rented bus 2hrs to get back onto the highway 2 yrs in a row which is literally right in front of the stadium and that sucked balls...

The part number no longer works. I've got my KTM connection looking into it. You can only order white and black.

Just don't get the polisport ones that are labeled "KTM Orange" they don't match at all!

I bought those last yr and they were shit. All 4 of the inserts just spun when I was tightened the bolts and the color was way way off. I took them off and gave them away.

Looking good Digger,
Those Polisport louvers are plain ugly, I bought a set 18 months ago and through away the next day.

Solid. Jealous. My regular 16 is in the process of a make over. I sure wish I could afford those suspenders!

I agree. Shipped em back to RMATV. I know Acerbis makes some but they are not for sale to the general public yet. So I've been told.

Thank you very much :-) I've got a local kid here in town doing all my stuff. His stuff is very good and he has the new brighter KTM matched very well. Aggressive Graphix
