No one on this earth is faster than Jett- that's the baseline. I think Deegan can run Jett's pace, but he is at 110% effort (unsustainable) and would not be able to ride "faster" to catch / pass him (unless Jett makes a mistake). Riding this faster pace- He will need to also improve his bike set up to run that speed more consistent, including getting comfortable himself at that speed. Jett will already go down as the fastest rider ever (one of)- hard for anyone to come up against and beat that...

Jett is still recovering from a serious injury, has had to cut his riding and testing, and adjust his riding technique. He is still the fastest rider in the world. As he recovers further he will only get faster...

The Lawrence brothers have 2 seconds a lap on most everyone else in the world at the moment.

Jett uncorked a lap 2 seconds faster than Haiden on lap 16, just a few laps after falling, regrouping and taking off again. He DROPPED Haiden. Period. At this level the bell curve is so flat that it’s almost lateral. Meaning, making up 2 seconds a lap at the top tier of our sport is the equivalent of 10x more work than making up 2 seconds a lap as a 30th place rider. It’s not just 2 seconds a lap…it’s tenths of a second in 20 places on the track. This is the same reason 2nd or 3rd-9th place are...

I think it’s been said a couple places but RJ won’t be going regardless since he’ll be transitioning to Ducati immediately after the MX season.

Jett’s far from 100% heathy. When he gets back to 100% he’s going to crush everyone including his brother and make it look easy doing it.

He could win motos on a 250 though which is a huge deal at the event. Two decent 450 riders and one top 250 rider is a great team. If they send juju or hymas for 8-12 moto scores it's a different story

Like him or not, he is the best American rider currently. It can’t even be debated.

There's currently injury/ form questions in nearly every team, that make it a hard call at this stage.

you dangerboyz have a hard time coming to terms with Deegs not living up to the hype he and his family created. i don't have to convince myself of anything.....i see clearly. the beauty of a message board is you can choose what you read/don't read....you apparently click in frequently so quit complaining about those of us you think are not fair or objective regarding the dangerboy

When these guys hit their 30s and they still having nagging injuries...they need -time off- to heal, rehab, recover. Dylan is being damn smart and you might have noticed that he's been consistently "more competitive" as of late...? I've noticed that sometimes these guys let the time off affect them negatively as if they're losing out by NOT riding all the time. Funny-fact: while riding is important and the skill set required to race at the speeds Dylan races at are certainly "perishable"...I'm seeing him ride better and seemingly hungrier on race day and that seems to be an upside...
