If you raced against sleeved down 125cc bikes and the bike shop charged you $30 to bore your cylinder to the next piston size up.

Right or wrong Hannah is entertaining...The Man might not know about practice time trials but he did know a thing or two about 40 minute moto's and qualifying heats. And that's riding a two stroke machine without a hydraulic clutch.

wired4speed Added a reply to Nationals Purse Money

I think Tomac hit it on the nail...simply increase the purse money for your consistent riders who are not finishing in the top 10...This series travels across the country and relies on sponsorship money to support the established race teams. The purse increase doesn't have to be substantial but it is worth a discussion and may even make the series...

wired4speed Added a reply to Dungey is Roczen and Roczen's Dads problem

It will be interesting to see if Barcia finds his speed again to battle Dungey....Seems like that second moto at Unadilla just killed his forward progress. Dungey was going faster than Barcia that day and there just wasn't any suspension settings that the JGR team was going to find to reverse that.

First off, Unadilla did a fantastic job improving the track the past few years and pulling off a great show. Barcia settled into 2nd place in the first moto and threw down some entertaining whips for the fans.

$100,000 a year salary...it doesn't sound like much for the risk but there's another alternative. No salary, no free bikes or parts, no expense account for travel and food, no one prepping your bike between races, practice, no factory parts, suspensions or motors...
