I guess it would depend on the track you're at. if the thief is able to get on the bike and take off without anyone noticing, he could get out of sight quickly. careful betting on other riders to chase off into the distance after your bike. cops might not respond or even be allowed to chase...

3/4/2024 11:20am thats the other thought i had. even if they get away with the bike then where could the thief even ride it? peeling off graphics won't hide factory parts. I wonder if the teams are dropping any type of tracker in their race bikes these days. bolt cutters would probably work to get the bikes lifted from any truck stops...

3/3/2024 3:58pm Yeah i think he got frustrated and abused it for a few laps and also didn't adjust it by rolling in more free play. I doubt he smoked a new clutch all by himself in those 5-10 laps. I think combination of his abuse and the tension on the plates from him forgetting /not realizing it needed adjustment

3/3/2024 3:20pm Carmichael incorrectly came up with some theory that shock fluid was leaking onto the exhaust pipe (not possible with that pipe and his shock wouldnt work at that point).
