I really like Ping's bike tests and builds and getting regular dude's builds on the site for a test. He is extremely knowledgable and has seen it and done it. Whisky throttle is awesome. We certainly wouldn't see eye to eye politically but I would have a beer with him and talk about it. He came in hot a few times-so what? So have most regulars around here. It's called being human. Glass houses people, glass houses. Best of luck to him.

I really enjoyed Ping's sarcastic and witty tone in RacerX back in the day... Since then, it seems to me he's gotten more and more radical in his opinions about, well, everything... He lost me along the way.

If you keep the motorcycles the same color, it gets confusing for the womenfolk. I just got her a new Bronco so that should keep her quiet for a month or two.

Interesting the race team went back to the Mikuni carburetor on the YZ125 when the new production bike is using a Kehin. Or is that bike still running the pre 2022 engine?

Every part on a new KTM design is Cad designed and their revision of each product every few years they make changes reducing the weight. this and investing in the latest casting methods has payed off. The Jap bikes for the most part are the same as they were 10 years ago and they haven't pursued the technology like KTM has....that photo of dcg141's with the 4 KTM heads on the bench tells the whole story!

All 250f's were junk in the early 2000's. My 04 crf ate valves no matter what I did to it. If I remember, I think kibblewhite made some better ones I ended up using. They weren't the bikes we know today.

I thought there was a rumor of a 125 swap kit for the 250 a few years ago? Suzuki, produce a 125, affordable 250/450 4t and you are golden. I can't believe all manufactures don't make a 125. It's to the point of being ridiculous.
