Ross McWatters who for more than 20 years has been at the forefront of performance race tuning. Ross has worked as a race mechanic for many Australian championship riders across both Motocross and Enduro and also ran the factory race team efforts for Yamaha, Kawasaki and KTM. For the past 7 years Ross has also been working for Australasian Dirt Bike Magazine writing technical articles and answering Dr Ross questions.

MCD/DrRossMX is actually Ross’s third attempt at setting up a small exclusive race tuning workshop. The first effort turned into Prorider Motorcycles a multi million dollar KTM dealership that was sold in 2002 so he could get back to the performance work he loves. The second attempt lasted 3 months until Kawasaki approached him to run their Motocross racing program. KTM poached Dr Ross away from Kawasaki to head up the Motorex KTM team for 2007, 8 and 9.

Now in 2012 MCD/DrRossMX is dedicated to servicing the performance needs of racer and trail riders alike offering quality motor and suspension services. As well as a superbly equipped workshop and highly qualified technical staff, MCD offers on site set up and track testing as part of our regular program. Dr Ross can often be found testing and riding with our customers at Appin and Mt Kembla as well as at many race events Australia wide.
