You're basically skipping two sizes. The Jr and the Sr class. The mini is a tiny bike. Which is why it has its own class. If racing, I think he would be create a danger to kids that are the proper age and size on a 65.

If the YZ 65 sells well and they start taking a good share of the market I think you'll see a YZ 50 sooner rather than later. It would only make sense. I don't think it's going to take them as long to release a 50cc as it did for the YZ 65.

Pah! Yamaha don't need to!

Kids will start on a PW50 which will never miss a beat.
Then progress to a 50SX which will cause the old man to lose his hair!
Then when it comes to 65cc time the old man will be so sick of KTM shite that he's buying a Yamaha and will never touch a pumpkin again!

Great thinking by Yamaha!
This describes us to a T. My little guys ready to move to a 65 and I’ve had enough of that SX50. I work on that thing constantly. I cannot wait to sell that thing. My sons been ready to move to a 65 for a few months. Been waiting on the YZ65 since I heard a rumor about it last summer.

Cant wait for the rest of the 150+ new models, obviously not all motocross, Yamaha will be releasing within the next few years. Im expecting a few electric. Its about time people start seeing Yamaha for their reliability and dominance in all forms of motorsports.

Yamaha reliability? There mx bikes are at least as good as the rest, there farm/ag bikes are shit, won't last a third as long as a honda....Dominance in all forms of motorsport? No.

What a shame to have Villopoto involved with it. Worse than McGrath as a "brand ambassador" for Kawasaki.

I don’t know where you guys get this kind of shit. There are plenty of kids that know who RV is...
Bye the way...as I recall...
He was a mini-shredder on YZs.
So, there’s always that.

Not sure how this would impact you in any way...either on the positive or negative side.

Spock's blood was green.

Mine is lime green.

Several racers are associated with a certain brand to me. He raced professionally on only Kawasaki.

I'm still wondering who they'll steal away from the Orange Brigade Team. Anyone think they'll go after Deegan's kid? Would be a great move for Yamaha. The kid already has a big following, one of the top amateurs, winning titles, etc.

That's what I would do. New 85 is coming as well.

i don't blame RV. the kawi is and has been one of the worst bikes produced during the 4-stroke generation. him winning on a Kawi was like Tiger winning with Nike clubs. imagine what they could have done with half-decent equipment.

only bike they've ever made that was worth a shit was the KDX200 and RV probably would have won the MonsterMill on one of those too

The two pictures in this thread are not even close... The second one looks way more production based on the economy parts on it and not correct...
