Latest update. The dealer is actively trying to get to the bottom of the strange mileage readings on the car fax. And he has an e-mail stating if they can't get a non-branded title he'll get his full down payment, plus all payments made refunded. Just not the insurance. That's in writing. We're going to call that a win. It sounds like owner number 2 was shady, or there sure were some strange coincidences and discrepancies from more than one place, including whatever info the DMV found in the onboard computer(s) ? on the truck. Kind of curious to see...
