Went for a dual sport ride with the wife on Sunday. Left the house in San Clemente and went to Santiago peak via Ortega highway to Blue Jay / Falcon camp road to Main Divide road up to the towers. We were going to be clever and do a loop but wound up at a dead end about 5 miles after going down a super loose beat to shit hill that we really didn’t want to go back up. I was a little worried about my wife on her XT250, I wouldn’t want to ride that bike up that hill
. She rocked it though I was impressed ! She slid out once on the slippery DG, no harm no foul but XT250’s are not light, by any stretch. Anyway all good. Rode 108 miles and then straight into the jacuzzi 😂
Lets see what you guys have been up to riding wise.

How do I add a video from my phone?
No idea. Is there a way other than put it on instagram or facebook and link it ?
I was riding the wrenches, got my 450 bottom end apart and back together after waiting on gaskets.

In the morning..
Then the afternoon. It’s a great place to live.
Is that Bates Cyn?
ALL the pics above look like a great weekend for everyone and lots of good riding or maintenance work getting done! 🤪
A riding buddy & I did a little fun Singletrack with the KLR’s then a nice loop out to lunch!
I parted ways with my riding buddy and met my brother & sister-in-law at the ball park to watch the NCAA Regional in Norman, watching OU vs OU! Oklahoma University played Oregon University at 2pm! Hung around & watched Boston U play Cleveland State in the elimination game before riding over to meet the wife for dinner!
Ended up with about a 240 mile day on Saturday, plus some great softball too!
Was a really fun weekend! 😎 👍❗️
(Just rolled into the garage after a 200 mile lunch loop out in western Ok today too!)
(This retirement thing is AWESOME!!! 👍❗️👍)
Damn, good eye!! It is indeed. I live right next to it.
I spent a decent chunk of time in Tooele about 10 years ago, love that place. There was a Mexican place in Grantsville, Rey something or other, it's now Virg's. That was some of the best Mexican food I have ever had anywhere.
You rode straight into the jacuzzi? Sounds bad for the chain and the seals. Plus, a little grungy for a pool guy. (At least you know how to maintain the Jacuzzi, I'd guess!)
I didn't video my last ride, but I was up at Greer Ranch doing some MTB riding. Here's my most recent video from a few months ago. Disregard my goofy narrating:

Nice ! I haven't been to Greer yet. Look similar to Laguna. I rode the dog park the other day, there's been some work done but lots of overgrowth. "Too many ticks" right now is one reason I heard guys aren't super enthused to do trail maintenance out there, but some trails are getting love. The guys at Las Ramblas are kiiling it, lots of clearing going on there. Someone cleared the trails off La Pata behind target, both up and down trails are cleared. It's not a huge area but good for a couple quick runs. I don't know if this link will work or not, it's cell phone video I put on facebook. I aint exactly fast but it's fun.

This is my friend Marcus first try with his new gopro. He was going to follow me on my first trip down the luge. He waits too long at the beginning and then his bike shutoff for some reason so you never see me after the first ten feet and the end. But check out his pov crash at about 1:50
Nice first video haha. (Poolio is my name in the otmx and pro-ride)
I just got back from riding Mammoth. Had beautiful weather and explored a lot of terrain. Also got caught in a nasty lightening and hail storm around 9000ft.
Usually take quick fun runs on the back roads around my house. A lot of turns, hills and such. Used to swim as a kid in the dam behind my bike.
Holy shit dude !!!
Glad you're still here.

I'll make you a deal: you show me around San Clemente and Laguna, and I'll show you Greer.
One day soon, I'm going to hit up the San Juan Trail. That one's epic!
Airbag suits are expensive but worth every single penny.
It was also the one time I didn't put my go pro on, sods law eh.
