Production Director is getting direction from “executive leadership” who myopically try to “make it right for a wide audience”, and in doing so, insult the intelligence of people who know nothing about the sport but can catch on a lot quicker than these “experts” believe.

This broadcast team is untouchable. They're part of the Feld/MXSports Bro Show. Plus they probably work cheaper than someone who actually knows what they're doing.

Actually if you go back and listen James and RIcky were trying to call the actual action. The dipshit producer clearly got in the other dudes ear (can't think of his name atm) and he abruptly started talking about J-Coops awesome6th place ride... The producer truly is pathetically bad at his job. I can only guess that he "knows tv" but really isn't even into racing and even after like 15 years still has no idea how to see what's building on the track. He missed basically every big moment of the night when every fan knew what was coming...

One time they cut away from the race to show a full screen shot of her in the pits saying two riders were still friends. I'm not joking

JA's speed when he is on, is amazing. I also think his unique style is cool. That being said, I'm not sure he has the right mindset to win another title. How many times do we see him getting in lappers' faces if they don't pull completely off the track for him? And getting into these back and forth contact battles with his fast competition. It just seems like little stuff like that is what you want to avoid and he just doesn't.

Most impressive thing about Coops ride is you wouldn’t necessarily peg it as track that he typically excels on.

I was at the race... Tomac just didn't look like he was even pushing at all for most of the main. I was thinking he was under the weather or just hated the track and mailed it in. Webb was insanely techie. He really does find ways to do the most specific maneuvers to make up a tenth here & there. It's a lot easier to see why he's so good in person than on TV.
