well well well, mistakes after mistakes. Who really thinks Sexton has learnt from last season?
"flustered" as Webb said
I don't know that I put this mistake solely on him. He was taking the same line for the most part all night and just had a mishap. Cooper had a few mistakes in the loop as well. He is just wasn't as costly.
After a while it just might get in his head . Then he'll have real problems. I am a fan of chase since he's from our area
But how does he keep finding ways to muck up when in the lead, its extraordinary.

A "bridemaid" - podiums - is how you win championships. Chase has the most podiums of anyone this year.
The dangerous thing is that he gave the confidence to Webb tonight.
Gotta love the dorks on here talking crap on a top pro.
Mr. Bridesmaid is Kevin Windham.
but the point is...in a race with Sexton on front u can count on him in for a mistake like tonight.
believe it or not, but i knew it will happen tonight early in the race
100%
lol even the G.O.A.T. said "u can't do this over and over and over again lol
wasn't he a pro too back the day's...was he.?!
exactly. Even JS called it early and said watch the 5 minute to go mark, Chase will struggle. And lo and behold.
Look I am not a hater of Chase, in fact I am a fan, but it's just frustrating we keep seeing the same shit over and over again.
Kid needs a TUE for adderall. Im not joking. Almost as bad as jordon smith.
I’m not sure, it seems he just gets ranked on for his booth work these days. It doesn’t take anything more than having eyesight to see that falling off the bike when leading isn’t good. Somehow here in Vital you need to be a former Pro title holder to comment on that. As if Chase doesn’t know himself and would disagree.
Our sport is just really unique in that they turn pro as early as 16 and usually retire by 28. For most other sports, that’s about the time they really hit their prime and have it figured out mentally. In SX, they are expected to have it down mentally before many sports even hit the pro ranks. Sexton is the age most NFL rookies are and nobody expects them to be amazing mentally. It’s the biggest drawback of a sport like this. Take Tomac and Stewart for instance. Their mental game held them back tremendously. They were still so amazing they could overcome it. That’s what’s so impressive about guys like RC, Villopoto, Dungey, and Webb. Had it down mentally in their early 20s. Rare.
Totally agree. I've long thought that might make a big difference for him. I wonder why James doesn't mention it or his experience with it. James having worked with Chase for a bit, I wonder if they ever did disucss it.
I haven't found the right pill for my own best use yet but just knowing it's a thing I have is a big part of living/working with it.
It would explain a lot for Chase, if he does indeed have it.
Though Im not so sure last night wasn't just a track thing.
I don't really know all this Jetson threat when he turns 450SX, Justin Cooper, Colt Nichols, Christian Craig were his peers on 250s, maybe so - maybe not. I think Chase can relax with that threat.
well -- i got shat on for making this thread but here we are now, same old story. Not just Eli in his head now, Coops is nesting somewhere in there too. I seriously doubt Sexton ever getting a big bike title with Jettson on the horizon
