To the point of this thread, anyone wanting a modern mini truck, the Maverick is the way to go. I’ve put 18,xxx flawless miles on mine since September 2023. It’s fully a loaded EcoBoost Lariat (sans a sunroof) and it was about $35k OTD in NJ. I lowered it and put Ford Edge ST wheels on it with 265 tires because I can’t leave well enough alone. Despite the massively increased tread width, I still average about 27 mpg. It’s fun to drive, efficient, and easily hauls my dirt bike and gear… what else can a moto guy ask for...

A few things- Keep up with the rt300 stim bike that was pictured maintaining circulation and lower extremity muscle is important. Water therapy gets the person out of the chair and allows the therapist to assist in active/passive range of motion. Get up into standing frame daily if possible. Weight bearing on lower extremity is good. Continue strengthening and stretching at gym.

When we lived in the DFW area, my girlfriend (now wife) got an SCI from an MTB crash and spent the first month at Baylor, and has worked for recovery ever since (T-11 complete, 11 yrs). I'm grateful for these updates. I dont know your brother, but my son and I ride at RV so this hits home. I have an acquaintance with an SCI. He is paralyzed from the waist down. He went to a place called https://veritaneuro.com/ in Mexico to get a spinal cord stimulator implanted. Cost him $100 grand. He said it has not been a magic cure-all, and it requires dedication, but he has recovered some movement in his legs. Not full movement or coordination, but improvement. From what I’m told, Craig is phenomenal for rehabbing any and all spinal injuries.
