Truthfully it doesn’t surprise me much. I see lots of guys who can’t change their own tires. The app isn’t complicated at all. The best thing about it is using it for maintenance, oil changes etc. Keeps track of that stuff. Most guys will load a map once and be good. It is nice if you’re riding an event like...

I've said it in another thread, with LACR closed it is at best a 5 hour round tripper to go hit the tracks now, and that's without traffic. LACR was 2 hours total R/T which meant you could get out, ride your moto's and be home before noon. There is a huge group of people who ride tracks in my area with no place reasonable distance away to go to, and for people like me with minimum amounts of free time during the week it really cuts down on track time, which then trickles down to less money spent on...

We have 9 hours on ours... shifting is good.. bike has broken in nicely.... my kid says its the best feeling he has had on a bike... added a tooth and 110 tire - pumps gas on old maps... pulled several good starts against mod bikes at a national last weekend, here is a vid. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DDTHPdCSml-/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link…

I've got about 13hrs on one. What I did that helped > Akrapovic map, 110 rear tire, added one tooth to rear sprocket and dropped the forks down to about 2mm. After a couple oil changes the shifting smoothed out (was a bit notchy new). Everything else is stock. Great bike, a lot of fun to ride.
Yeah it was on the stock maps. We asked for the Akro Heavy (?) map I'd heard about, but with it being a demo and only 5 hours old they wanted the rider's feedback on a bone stock platform. We had 10 or so guys at the track, lots of Austrian platforms from 125-350, Kawis, Hondas, a Yamaha, both 2 and 4 strokes so a wide range to compare against. My boy gave me more feedback on handling - said he wheel-tapped through the whoops, was carrying way more speed than normal and thought he was going to blow over...

If you’re brought in by ambulance EMS will have to write a report, in which includes location. Worth a shot though, just claim concussion if they catch you in the lie.

I got to ride a Triumph 250 yesterday for the first time and here are my thoughts. A little about me first I am a local Colorado pro that does some AX and a few pro nationals every year. I currently ride 2023 Honda 250s. First impression of the Triumph 250 was highly positive. Coming into the test, I was very skeptical since it is a first-year motorcycle, and there often seems to be a stigma surrounding first-year models. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this bike. The first thing I noticed was how playful it felt, which I attribute...

I get it. Here’s a hard to explain position: I can see damn near everyone’s position! It all starts with building a track, in the modern era, that allows for someone to LAUNCH OFF A 30 FOOT CLIFF! There’s no getting away from that fact of life. Words like “Ignorantly” are used as a non-endearing yet legal terms that end up being replicated by “negligent” as the lawyers make their way towards the words “liable” and “responsible”…and never mind “culpable”. And, I know Rick Ryan, he’s not gonna stick his nose into something if he’s not outright passionate about it...

You can insult me all you want, but as a parent I am not going to judge a guy that has bled moto his whole life. Cali tracks are out of their minds the way they run practices and I cannot believe this doesn't happen more. Be careful cancelling EKS who supports countless privateers and pros across numerous disciplines.....before you you take a look at every thing you buy and all the details of those companies.

Perfect. As I said, articulate what. Allowing these types of lawsuits to see light is the biggest problem. Gruesome encourages litigation, for just about anything. Insurance companies can’t keep up.

Articulate what? I was responding to the guy saying Rich Taylor was responsible for closing LACR….which is asinine to think. While I’m sure it didn’t help matters, it was just a piece of a large problem. The biggest problem is the photo of Gruesome, who invites and encourages more and more litigation.
To be fair, looks like they tested a 24. They have it listed at 9995.00 but the new 25 has been reduced to 9495. They also added a disclaimer to the triumph stating they have new ecu maps and clutch parts for free at triumph dealers but this came out after their test. The new 25 comes with this updated...

I like how the Triumph turns all while being more stable. Low end feels like it has significantly more torque. Yamaha comes onto the power much faster and revs quicker and the suspension is so plush. I think mapping needs help on the triumph and I didn't want to spend the extra $200. Comes standard on the Yamaha. Yamaha was a couple grand cheaper but I wanted one of the first Triumphs to hit the market so I WAY over paid for that.
