gotta disagree about Hannah... Arrogant? Yes... Asshole...nah... In '84 or '85, Hannah's last year racing, I went to the Gatorback National. After the races, we were getting autographs and this really hot chick wanted Bob to sign her shirt. He asked where, she said anywhere... Bob grabbed a handful of tit (they were big 'uns) and signed right across it...I'm 12-13 years old and thought he was a god...lol. He was absolutely the coolest cat in the pits... 2nd was the Dogger... The golden days of American MX!

Jeff Ward was friendly when I attended races in the late '80s. Brad Lackey was super cool when I had a chance to talk to him while he was setting up his t-shirt sales stand at an endurocross here in Denver a decade or more ago. I would not add them to the list.

In ‘23 Chase was regularly faster than Tomac but couldn’t stay off the ground. Jett can match Chase’s speed, without falling and likely go faster. Jett, Chase, Eli is my top three pick.

If he gets the same type of starts as outdoors he will dominate, nothing suggests otherwise. Remember Jetts worse finish on a 450 was a 3rd at MXdN on debut.

If he clean sweeps SMX, come A1 i think there will be a few nervous guys on the gate.

I’m not betting against him after this outdoor season. The dudes starts are phenomenal, he doesn’t seem to ride over his head, mature for his age… I think he’ll do just fine

My faovrite protest related story was in the 2004/2005ish era. At the Walton Trans Can race in Canada (our Loretta Lynns style amateur event) there was a dad in the Supermini class that was pretty hardcore. His kid was a 6-10 place rider at the event. Before the last moto of the 3 moto format, the dad goes up to the race official with cash in hand and says "I want the top 5 bikes overall torn down" The last moto takes off and there is a huge pile up where most of the top contenders go down, a couple...

Bunch of complete pussies... if any of them were on their own you could literally walk up and bitch slap one and they'd just look at their feet and try not to cry... Get them in a group and suddenly they're billy badass. We've got similar in the UK but usually on those bastard electric things like Talarias and Surrons. Same scum bag, hard man when they're in a group mentality as well.

Very little pressure on Eli- twilight of his career, starting a season that many (Even he) probably didnt expect to start, coming off an injury that sat him out all last summer. I very much doubt he's looking for a team/ride for 2025. There is no pressure. If he doesn't win, he's done enough to sign-off with pride.
