Hot take: I like both Jett and Haiden because they both ride dirt bikes real damn fast.

I have a feeling Deegan gets his breakthrough win at Washougal. Not Jett or Hunters best track and Deegan is really good there. Not sure if it will be overall or moto but I think it happens.

Fastest in qualy, smokes everyone in moto 1, passes the best in moto 2, crashes and potentially breaks his collarbone, gets up and gaps the field again to win. What a savage!

These are Cornelius Toendel’s results from last year. And the dude shows up here, gets a factory ride because he was one of the best options for a fill in ride and takes top 10 in a moto. Anyone who can’t see how much better those guys are at MX than our guys are is just plain blind.

i got a lot of backlash for talking here about this some years back......but the mojo here was that Luongo was the devil and everything he did was wrong, mxgp had no money, tracks were shit, everyone there wanted to race in america and sxwas where the money is and the prime series in the dirt bike world the truth is in america the is no amature championship or series like the national championships each country has in europe and where kid races the same tracks as the mxgp races of that country.....kids dont manage reces, dont learn patience, dont...

I blame the mx amatuer program here, it sucks. We need something like emx in europe. These kids are not being developed / trained enough to be mx stars.

People maybe opening their eyes that the American amateur system is a joke and under prepares riders, the format from Europe and even Australia is preparing people better. Europe theyre doing longer motos on rougher tracks, and Australians have kids racing full blown (although smaller than USA tracks) Supercross on 85cc. Comparing five-lap amateur races a few times a year and perfectly prepared practice tracks daily is to the EMX series is not a fair comparison. EMX is a full championship that runs alongside the MXGP series, with riders competing on the same type of demanding tracks and conditions as the highest level of motocross. Compared to AMA motocross events like Loretta Lynn’s, motos require a much higher level of endurance. The races are typically 25–30 minutes long, and European tracks are often rougher and less maintained between sessions, forcing riders to adapt to changing track conditions throughout the weekend.

Sexton is supposed to be in the prime of his career right now and take over the throne for Eli. Hes supposed to be fighting for championships right now with deegan coming behind him in a few years. Eli was just winning sx races and got injured first round so we dont know what he could have done this year too maybe a couple motos. Theres only one first place tho and Sexton is the american thats supposed to be up there right now, he probably the only other guy than hunter that has the speed to beat jett at...

the first is worse in Belgium and maybe even Australia , 2, there seems to be no problem with money in american amatuers, they cant even park all the rigs at the races sometimes, the last one is probably the main reason, to much practicing not enough racing,

Every major moto series I can think of, anywhere in the world, has a junior/ amateur or development class that gets to race alongside the pros, except in the US. That has consequences imo.
