But under the surface it's really Russian propaganda that continues to push the narrative that Zelensky is bad, the US is wasting money, that Ukrainians want to be Russian, Ukraine is harboring terrorists, Ukraine is a NATO puppet state, etc etc etc. Same shit different day. If Ukraine was Russia it would expand Russian borders to include new neighbors of Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, and Moldova, it would increase Russias strength in the Black Sea, it would give Russia sole control of oil and gas pipelines that service southeastern Europe, and it would give Russia control of lots of fertile agricultural land they don't possess now. Aside from the obvious of imposing dictatorial rule on a large population of Europeans that don't want it.

Russia tore up the treaty when they invaded Crimea in 2014. It all should have ended right there, that's why it needs to end here. I will agree that reneging on the NATO agreement is not a good look, and Ukraine still has A LOT of growing up to do to not be as corrupt as they're still showing to be, but a Russian invasion and killing of innocent civilians is not the answer. Diplomacy is what makes us different than chimpanzees who will go kill an entire other clan just because. There are ZERO legitimate reasons for Russia to invade Ukraine. So regardless of the integrity of the journalism of Tucker, and unless Putin is going to share that he's made the decision to pull their troops out and end the war, this is a propaganda stunt to get Tucker's viewers to believe they are doing it for just reasons.

It's obvious what is going on with Tucker Carlson and Russia. You'd have to be incredibly naive or a rapid partisan to believe he in Russia pursing the truth.
