TailSoHard Added a reply to Renner at Pala riding the Vet Track in a RZR
3/19/2016 7:46am We just got done putting a turbo on our demo YXZ a week or so ago. Wakes that thing right up! Haven't dyno'd it, but they claim 155hp (compared to 112hp stock)
TailSoHard Added a reply to moto and snowmobiling
3/19/2016 7:34am Just to clarify, the place where the OP wants to ride has no need for a mountain sled... Sure, it has some elevation and you can have some fun with a mountain sled, but Michigan is trail-sled territory. I got my eye on the new Polaris Assault 800 that we have sitting on our showroom floor
But even that...

3/18/2016 12:22pm X2, I 100% agree, however... If Kongol's already on Vital-probation, he should maybe refrain from using sarcastic undertones for awhile so he doesn't put GuyB in the tough position of trying to figure out if he was serious or not...

TailSoHard Added a reply to Who have you ridden with?
3/17/2016 6:55am I've ridden with a few of the Enduro/GNCC guys...if you count being passed by them all day long as "riding with them" lol Mike Lafferty, Josh Strang, Russell Bobbitt, Shane Watts, Randy Hawkins, Jeff Fredette... Oh, and Nick Wey
TailSoHard Added a reply to St. Patty's day....
3/17/2016 6:41am Same here, I knew you had an accident but never heard the details... props to you for chugging along all those years and finding the courage to talk about your story. Keep writing, you've got a knack for it. You never know; write enough stuff down and you might eventually end up with a book that inspires a young moto...
TailSoHard Added a reply to Marijuana at the track
3/16/2016 2:53pm Hell yeah! I friggin love dabs, doing one right now actually hahaha Since you're in Denver, if you ever see bottles of Medi-Gin, pick one up. My best friend started that company a few years ago and it's taken off like wildfire... It's a marijuana-infused ginger ale

3/16/2016 10:16am Are there any documented incidents on tracks where Marijuana either caused an issue or was present in the person who caused the issue? Not being a smartass, I am legitimately curious to know...
TailSoHard Added a reply to question for the mountain bike guys
3/15/2016 9:40am I would probably stay away from a downhill bike then, simply because they suck if you ever have to go uphill... Get something with 120mm-160mm of suspension. A bike with too much travel gets really heavy and tends to bob with every pedal stroke, making your job much tougher. I would even think about going to a 29" wheel bike...

3/15/2016 9:21am What's your terrain like? Are you going to be doing a lot of climbing? Any chairlift/shuttle runs?
TailSoHard Added a reply to question for the mountain bike guys
3/15/2016 9:15am I wouldn't go any lower than X9 (Sram) or XT (Shimano). It will make your experience quite a bit more pleasant if you're not constantly fighting your shifting... That being said, if you see yourself liking mountain biking, you'll probably have the desire to upgrade some things down the road. Wheels and suspension are the best upgrades you can make...
TailSoHard Added a reply to question for the mountain bike guys
3/15/2016 6:21am The other route you could go would be to build your own bike from the frame up. You get a different sense of connection with your bike and you can pick and choose what parts you want to sink your money into. It will be a little pricier (unless you're patient...), but you'll end up with a bike that you...
TailSoHard Added a reply to question for the mountain bike guys
3/15/2016 6:12am You're always better off going to a tad longer frame and swapping for a short stem, rather than the opposite (short tup tube, long stem...). Most bikes these days are moving towards the longer top tube, shorter stem, slack headtube angle, short travel fork geometry. I'm a fan of smaller bike companies, simply because they are easier to work with...
TailSoHard Started a new thread Eagles' Randy Meisner's wife shot
3/12/2016 7:16pm Seems fishy to me, but either way it's sad to hear... http://www.guitarworld.com/artists-artist-news-news/wife-eagles-co-foun… [i]According to multiple news sources, Lana Rae Meisner, 63, the wife of Randy Meisner, a founding member of the Eagles, was found shot to death at the couple’s home in Studio City, California, Sunday (March 6). It is still unclear how Lana Rae was killed. According to RadarOnline...

3/12/2016 11:56am I like it too! It helps break up the normal race-season schedule and gives us something else to talk about other than who crashed this weekend, who sucked, who should have won, etc...

TailSoHard Added a reply to Keith Emmerson Died
3/11/2016 3:38pm I'm devastated to hear this... Keith Emerson was one of my biggest inspirations growing up... I'm blown away to hear that he's passed on. Yes, I am one of the few young guys who knows who he is, but that doesn't mean I appreciate him any less than the older gents here. Dad was a huge fan and I remember...
