They don't turn worth a shit on anything that's been packed down, which is part of the reason we aren't carrying them around here yet: they're worthless on snowmobile trails. You need a lot of fresh snow (and arguably, elevation) to really use these things to their potential. You need to lean them to turn, and with the fat front...

Yeah I agree, but hopefully this one won't be the same as the sleds... Sherco bike with a track kit developed by Camso so it should be pretty decent. Plus this will hopefully push other manufacturers to start developing some competition in the form of a fully functional out-of-the-crate snowbike. Not saying that being able to buy just the kit...

Interesting. So if you took the turbo off, it probably has less HP than a N/A Viper? I heard that it's basically a Vector/YXZ motor, which would make sense...

I'm wondering how it will stack up against the guys who turboed their '14-'16 Vipers. We installed turbos on a couple of our customers' Vipers and it's quicker than the A/C Turbo, so I'm anxious to get one in for a demo to see how it does. I've been bugging my Yamaha rep about bringing back a triple 2-stroke in...

I've been noticing artists doing these random "pop-up shows" lately; announcing a show only a few days beforehand. Went to see Wolfmother on Friday in Detroit after I found out about it on Thursday... Dave Chappelle was in Grand Rapids, MI last night and he only announced the show last Saturday... Now Hannibal Buress is doing the same thing, announced...

We're all flat landers around here, so we sell nothing BUT trail sleds. The 121" length is your standard trail length still, but most people are going to a 137" track. Not only does it help smooth out the bumps, but you also get a larger contact patch on the snow, resulting in better traction. When snowmobilers keep asking year...

Any of you snowmobilers had any decent rides this year? Im gettin all excited to head north the next few weekends to demo some of the new sleds, figured some people here have to be out enjoying the snow. Being stuck working every weekend selling snowmobiles doesn't leave much time for me to ride, so I get some serious cabin...

West Michigan. Grew up in GR, but only during the week. The rest of the time was spent in the northern part of the state in the woods or on the lake. And yes, you can surf, motorcycle, and ski here all in the same day. It just has to be winter, with no ice on the lake, no snow...

I felt the same way... We had some demos that we took out last week and I rode our new Pro-X Rush 800 after spending some time on the Pro-S and holy hell what a difference! I'm by no means a small guy, so the stiffer springs and upgraded valving on the Pro-X were a welcome change. For the riding...
