The 121" length is your standard trail length still, but most people are going to a 137" track. Not only does it help smooth out the bumps, but you also get a larger contact patch on the snow, resulting in better traction. When snowmobilers keep asking year after year for more horsepower and more torque, you need to be able to use all that power. Especially on the four-stroke sleds... They have quite a bit more torque off the line, so the longer track is absolutely necessary. Two-stroke's... not so much for the traction, but it still helps the ride.
Thought bringing back the SRX name would have been a good idea..

I've been bugging my Yamaha rep about bringing back a triple 2-stroke in that new Cat chassis... I think it would sell like crazy
Back in the day I had a stock RX-1 doing 126.1 mph and the speedo was reading 150mph..haha
I do know the Sidewinder is getting better fuel economy than the Viper's..believe it our not..under comparable conditions/riding. Obviously running hard on boost is going to suck more gas.
As mentioned before the engine is a total redesign specifically to be "turboed"...
I think the new sled looks killer, I really like the new tunnel/heat exchanger and beveled tunnel edge on top to make your stance more narrow on the sled, the difference is amazing when your standing on it....
I'm riding a 2016 Summit X 154 T3 this year, I'm loving the 3 inch short track.

we just got some new snow so i took the last couple days off work and went riding, had a blast playing in 2 feet of fresh powder.
i think i'm going to snow-check the 165, the black and yellow/green one is SO sick
