Long term conflict feeds the war machine well. Trillions of dollars out of taxpayer pockets and into the coffers of the military industrial complex gang. The average citizen continues to struggle more and more, and wealth is transferred as intended. As Chalmers Johnson said, "When an empire's economic engine stalls, it inevitably turns to military force to disguise its hollow...

It ends really easily, we just declare victory and leave. End of story, just pull out, let Trump take his “victory” lap, and call it a day. The damage to the region and US credibility has already been done, time to cut our losses rather than drag this out into another 20+ year conflict costing Trillions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of lives for no reason.

Bonnie living the dream at ride camp, where leashes are not allowed. Hard to tell who has more fun, the dogs or the riders. (It’s definitely the dogs)

Mans best friend, we do not deserve the love, devotion, and forgiveness of dogs. They are constantly a role model, best friend, joy, you name it. Sorry for your loss Lumpy, it never gets easy and always hurts. But rest assured, it appears you gave ladybug the life deserved

Friend’s private track, thirty minute drive from the house. It averaged around a two minute lap time and is very technical and physical. They recently expanded it and added another 1/3rd to the track, haven’t got to ride it yet though. The pictures on the bike are from the front sections of the track, the picture from the tower is the back section.

For me the most frustrating thing is the lack of anyone being able to say No to Donald and have him listen them. He unequivocally thinks he knows everything. Good governance comes with checks and balances. Right now Trump is running unchecked and the damage it’s doing to our democracy will be felt for decades to come.

All insider trading should be banned, it is no different for the Donald. The President is not responsible for the Federal Reserve and the liquidity that it injects. Two very different things, and don't get me started on the Fed Reserve. That thing should be long gone. IF you are a person who has their pulse on the market and understand that the money that is injected is going to certain sectors. Why not take advantage for you and yours? Terrible person still.... tell me the last "good" president in the last 35 years. Complain, or do something by way...

America is controlled by MIC, FIC, TIC ( and possibly some other outside influences through blackmail). Destabilize and extract resources. It's happening at home just as much as it is abroad. Erode sovereignty, at the individual and country level. Funnel power. The top of the food chain gets more equity, everyone else gets more debt. I'm not convinced the current...

Datacenters aren't new, this is true. As of 2025 AI comprised around 30% of datacenter capacity, granted this percentage is increasing quickly (much like datacenter construction in this country). The other 70% is us. Your backed up photos, messages, videos, flock camera footage, etc. YouTube users upload 500hrs of video every minute, Google Photos stores 4.5 trillion photos. VitalMX data...

My understanding is that the main reason modular reactors aren’t viable in the US is because of legacy permitting and regulation laws that were put in place during the Carter administration that essentially treat all nuclear plants equally regardless of size. The creates huge red tape hurdles to jump through that can take 10 years or more and really aren’t applicable to the modern modular style reactors. Regardless, it’s hilarious to me that just last summer we were all being warned about how the power grid just can’t handle the additional load of running your AC when it’s 110 out...

Is it really though? People are sick of getting blasted with fake personalities, ads, AI, and all other sorts of bullshit 24/7, the marginal returns are diminishing on this type of marketing real fast. Part of the reason this SX season was one of the most memorable ever was you had two honest, real, and respectful champions going at it to the end without having to manufacture fake hype or resort to dirty riding. People are craving authenticity and the culture seems to be shifting away from this type of stuff as far as I can tell.

On a positive note our grandson and the 7 year old neighbor kid we invited (who just got his first bike and was at his first MX race of any kind) had an absolute blast. Walking around for 3 hours after the race was over was just an extra added bonus for them. The neighbor kid is super enthused, it was fun to see him get to check out a bunch of stuff he wouldn’t have had we not been stuck there. Like him standing on the starting line and imagining he was in the race, throttle and clutch hands...
