4/24/2025 6:44pm I am looking for a new helmet soon. I have never wore anything besides bell. Moto-8 mx-9 and moto 9. I have been disappointed with my last moto 9 with the trim coming off around the eye opening on it and not a lot of riding time. I am comparing the Troy Lee se5 and a Leatt 8.5. Anyone here...

5/5/2024 7:44pm The 300fs are just plain magic. They have replaced the 390 race betas as the race bike for my dad and I. Only thing I see holding the sherco back is the notchy enduro trans, not that it’s bad but it does take more effort to shift it is comparable to how a rmz450 shifts to the other 450s.

I’m surprised Sherco hasn’t come out with an MX bike. No head light and 19 inch and nobody will known the difference !

Even if torn do not rush to have surgery if you can avoid it. Physio it for months if you can. https://www.health.harvard.edu/staying-healthy/physical-therapy-as-good… Also some evidence scoping can increase arthritis risk. I have torn meniscus several times and had both knees scoped. It can feel real bad and not require surgery and vice versa. Again don’t rush. About 20 years ago I tore some meniscus and a partial mcl tear . Had to get meniscus cleaned up . By the time surgery took place about 3 months after the injury I was about 90 % recovered. Took about 4 months after surgery to feel decent. Still doest feel great. I actually think I felt better right before surgery then I do now. Honestly should have left it alone. I did find out a couple years after surgery I was only the 3rd patient that orthopedic surgeon did surgery on. Take that for what it's worth. But I...

They are a pain, poor blood supply to that area, my physio recommended waiting for the swelling to subside, then stationary or road cycling, no weights, no impacts, I couldn't ride moto for 8 weeks.

2/3/2021 9:30pm Bought the one John Dowd was riding from Chaplin cycles and had them shipped. They were decent bikes just different the crank mounted clutch was stiff for a hydro and with the sprocket set up it got great traction.
