So I went to the demo day and got to rode the 200 RR 250 RR and 300 RR and the X trainer. I honestly loved all of them super fun ride. I have a ktm 350sxf And I've really been wanting to get me another two stroke I've also been looking at either the 300 or the 250 XC, but after that demo day, it's got me questioning myself. I've been doing a bunch of harescrambles which is the reason I'm wanting to get a different bike. I'm going to keep my 350 because I really love the bike when I rode the betas. I really love how well they lug down low and how much bottom they have just curious opinion on the 200 the 250 and the 300 verse, the Ktm what's the reliability on the beta's? I've had a few people tell me some ridiculous stuff like they've gone 400 hours on the beta 300 and still haven't done a top in yet but don't know if that's true. Seems hard to believe if you ask me just want y'all's opinion thanks.

I have 6 Betas in my garage. All of them have been very reliable and great machines. We have a 19’ 350 Race Edition (my 19y/o son’s bike), 20’ 300RR (my wife’s bike), 21’ 300 EVO (family ride trials bike), 21’ 300RX (my woods/moto bike), 23’ 200 Race Edition (my 14y/o son’s bike), and just added my 24 450RX about 3 weeks ago. So pending the 450RX having any issues all the other bikes have been well tested!! They have been flawless for us.
The way to tell is get on one of the Beta Facebook groups. I don’t know about 400 hours but some of those off-road guys have racked up some serious hours on 300 RX’s and still rolling.
I pulled the trigger on a 23’ 200 rr a few months ago after a beta demo day and couldn’t be happier with it. I have about 25 hours on it now and no complaints with the bike at all. The bottom end pull is really impressive for a small bore. I also have a 450 I still ride so making the jump between the two bikes isn’t as bad as you would think. Also when I went to pick up the beta at the dealer I noticed the pipe was slightly bent at the manifold. The dealer had a warranty claim approved before I left the showroom and a new pipe delivered two days later. Which was reassuring because parts availability was my biggest concern.
We have 3 full size Beta's in my family currently ('21 300RE, x2 '18 Xtrainers).
Very happy overall with them, the ride ability and reliability.
There are a couple minor quirks on the quality of the electronic gauge cluster and the X-trainer has a capacity/diode issue, but rest of that we've been happy. The 2 Xtrainers we deleted the OI.
Parts have been easy to get. There are a few really good dealers in the US that carry a ton of stock, I don't think I've ever waited more than a business week to get parts w/ std shipping.

That was one concern I had was about the oil injected because unless you get the RR race edition they are oil injected, but from the guy I talked to at the demo. He said I'm sure there are some that have failed out there but none that he's heard of i'm definitely wanting to keep my 350 so when I go to the track and Rod, I don't know how well the 300 RR would do riding on the track. What do people do as far as with the suspension? Is there some companies out there that specialize in the Sach suspension
Also, Power wise, how does the 300 RX feel compared to the RR?
Beta is also trying his hand on a flat track bike. It's a easy rideable bike, could be a instant hit for local short track warriors and if the engine wizards start working on the engine I'm very curious for the pro bike. Also curious on the fact if Ducati, Triumph show interest in flat track but also supermoto. Oh and TM has a weapon but aren't using it at flat track.
EDIT: BETA Flat Track Video (Man in Red)
Between the 300 RR and 300 RR Race Edition, I’d pony up for the KYB suspension over Sachs ZF any day! Beta builds good bikes, and the short and sweet for a comparison is that modern Austrian 2T’s are EFI (heavier than predecessors, more complicated), whereas Beta rocks a tried-and-true Keihin carb. Seat Concepts sell options that assist with the ergos, and parts are easy to get as well. Can’t go wrong at least trying one, in my opinion.
I can’t argue anything said above. My 300 RX is stupid simple but it works. Ain’t slow and it will get around the track plenty good. Will hold its own off road too. About as close to a Swiss Army knife as it gets
whatever you buy, get the race edition with the KYB. Its so amazing! I wasn't a fan of the 200, the 250 and 300 are both sick, but that 390 is amazing!
you cant go wrong with those or Sherco
I’m surprised Sherco hasn’t come out with an MX bike. No head light and 19 inch and nobody will known the difference !
The 300fs are just plain magic. They have replaced the 390 race betas as the race bike for my dad and I. Only thing I see holding the sherco back is the notchy enduro trans, not that it’s bad but it does take more effort to shift it is comparable to how a rmz450 shifts to the other 450s.
Check out 3 Seas Recreation, he has a ton of informational videos on Youtube.

Ill check them out thanks
I have two, a '23 500 RS and a '24 450RX and I love them both. Beta stands by their product 100% and the bike quality is excellent.
Aren't you having a problem with that 500 that you and/or Beta can't figure out?
You know what they say about a good Warranty....you're probably gonna need it.
Yeah, it would just shut off when cold idle'ing and it would hang on decel, but Beta said there were some cases of valve guides being a little wonky so they replaced the entire top end, head, valve train/valves, piston/rings and it's been fine since. Other than the time it was at SVC for said work it didn't cost me a dime. They also sent another set of plastics and graphics as a good faith effort to make it right.
Sure there are some weird quirks with the electrical, but Beta's belief in their product will keep me a customer until they start slacking in that dept.
