This whole sport is absolutely bush league when it comes to information. Sometimes I think they think they are actually curing cancer or something with how they guard information. The only one that truly understands the game is Lars, that guy is awesome.

Bash on me but i think that Modern day racing cosidering training, regimes, and perfection over the years is way more difficult than the golden Mcgrath years, Carmichael started all of this professionalism and actually Kicked Mc´s ass. You would see Mc and the guys partying, having fun, drinking and being awesome all the time, with Ricky that kinda ended, he was a lot more focused and strict and it did pay, dude was unbeatable because he trained and put all his time and effort to be the best. This is my gut feeling about these kind of topics. We are so far off in the world of MX in every regard, especially in actually trusting real physics and engineering. The sport is filled with "pseudotesting" where public professional riders (that are also involved in OEM development) have some really strange thoughts on different stuff. Things like the "free-feeling" rear axle on the Austrian bikes, the triple clamp shims between the pinch bolts are two things that instantly comes to my mind (and i assume there is more). 2/9/2024 4:42am Yes he's riding a Honda, although it has a desmodromic engine (Something the rest of 450 don't have), a different frame and many other componentes, but still is a Honda beacuse they are using Black Honda plastics for testing because they are not going to spend money and resources in plástic design

2/6/2024 4:44am I agree, he races for a private team that has a good bike, and doesn't pit on a van, his team have a semi, and apparently Honda HRC Us pays him bonus money for results. Was Kenny considered a privateer in 2015-16 in his RCH Suzuki days?
