MotoGP's next tech revolution - Sensors on Riders - feasible, helpful for MX?

This is my gut feeling about these kind of topics.

We are so far off in the world of MX in every regard, especially in actually trusting real physics and engineering. The sport is filled with "pseudotesting" where public professional riders (that are also involved in OEM development) have some really strange thoughts on different stuff.

Things like the "free-feeling" rear axle on the Austrian bikes, the triple clamp shims between the pinch bolts are two things that instantly comes to my mind (and i assume there is more). Snake oil level stuff.

This is one of the most interesting parts of Ducati entering the sport. They are entering it with a completely different viewpoint on science and development. It can go incredibly well, or they could face some struggles.
