six10 Added a reply to Who/What is next for Electric
3/1/2020 2:11pm The time for electric bikes in Europe is now. Space and noise are the biggest issue. I dream of the day, where I can do 2 20 min motos on my backyard, without neighbours calling police on me. As of now, you are not allowed to ride a dirtbike on your own land without permits. No problems for farmers riding...

9/29/2019 2:09pm No way...most of your post is BS. Gajser is no sand specialist by any means, if anything, he is a hard pack specialist...Im not even go in to the debate, but if we learned anything as this USA winless streak is going on, is that a lot of American fans are just sore losers. Sorry. When the USA was winning...
six10 Added a reply to Mistiming the crankshaft
3/19/2019 3:55pm Well, thats just it....if you can imagine exhaust cam being 90 degrees counterclockwise at TDC...lobes are facing down...yet there are no visible marks on the piston, the rotation didn't seem too much out of the ordinary....but i dont have much experience and i am worried that i have bent the valves...
six10 Started a new thread Mistiming the crankshaft
3/19/2019 3:40pm So I was tired and working through the night and I did what a stupid does...I mistimed the exhaust crankshaft by a 90 degrees counterclockwise...when i rotated the flywheel by hand, there was no unusual resistence, but when i looked at the lobes on the crankshaft, I saw it was not in the right position when TDC. The dots were...

six10 Added a reply to KTM spending $570 million on developing electric bikes?
2/9/2019 9:39am Well, finally. I cannot wait for a competent electric dirt bike, here in Europe. There is almost nowhere to ride anymore, even if you have the land, there is always a difficult neighbour...opening a new track, you'll need less luck to be the first human on Mars. I just wanna come home from work, and do two 20 minutes rides...

1/27/2019 1:47pm Apart from Bogo being super hard on Tim , everything written is quite correct. Sorry. Similar to Tony Alessi situation in the US. The guy went through a lot of hardships to bring Tim to this level, but the things he says...well, you are better off not understanding Slovenian.

8/5/2018 9:25am Hello, I bought a used 14 ktm 150. The person I bought it from claims the piston had been changed 25 hours ago. 7/30/2018 10:07am A little report: The groove on the crank ring was definately a no-go, as the new one i bought does not have any....but it still did not solve my problem.... for a while I thought it was a little better, but after 0.5 hours of the bike running, i am still having the same issues: - bike is spewing oil...

6/29/2018 11:29am Hello, yeah, the o-ring was definately under the sleeve. I also took extra care how i put the whole seal into the case...I genlty pushed it into hole with my hand, than put wood over it and slowly hammered it the whole way in. It was 100% sure oriented correctly. Did I oil the sleeve before i pushed it into...

6/27/2018 1:48pm So i have a little update...I am at a point where i'll either learn or pour gasoline over the bike and burn it.... Anyway, once i put a thin layer of silicone under the gasket i was able to stop the leak....and another thing i learned the hardway...dont ever tighten the case screws over 10Nm...you'll have a ruined day. Aluminium...

5/29/2018 10:24am Put brand new gasket on, tightened it to 15 Nm...and still a leak. I checked both sides if the case, both seem fine...i even have a very fine polishing stone, went over the contact surface area of the cases..... The only thing that I possibly could have done wrong, is maybe slightly bend the cluth side of the case when...

5/9/2018 10:44am Man oh man.... The engine is now assembled and runs ok, but i just noticed a nice little tranny oil leak from the clutch cover case, underneath the bolts...i've put the gasket on and off quite a few times when i was having trouble with the kick start spring....it wasnt damaged for sure, but i bolted and unbolted it probably...

5/2/2018 10:20am Hello, i am stuck again, near the end.... I am having a big problem with the kick start spring when bolting the whole clutch cover to the case. When i bolt the cover to the case, the kick start wont go back to up - to the original position. When i loosen the bolts on the cover, the kick start...
