I certainly hope that someone can step up and challenge Prado this year.. why isnt tom vialle racing?
Could be because he rides on the Dutch side of the team.

Looks like Prado has sprouted a few inches in height. He looked superb out there, just under 25 seconds in front of 2nd place, I think .

Watson next, and Mattia Guadagnini on the Husky 2 stroke in third. Good to see the Utter Bullshit of double the capacity not being part of this short, International series. I wonder if equivalency is part of general Italian rules / their Nationals?

Mitch Evans was up around 4th or 5th in the last few laps, but I guess he had a prang, as the last I saw he was in front of Cervellin, then he has about 14 seconds back from him, with Grothues right on his clacker.

450s up shortly.

Does it look like Gajser has gained like 10kg in weight? He looks big on the bike

Not sure on that, he sure doesn't look fat. But I returned to my TIGing for a few minutes, and, I think it was Gajser, in the pits, after a prang? Someone else?

Cripes, you'd think they'd have a spare magnetic peak / visor ready, as well as goggles and gloves. I'm probably wrong, but Tim (and other Fox helmeted riders) had a fair few finishes last year with the 'bowling ball' look.

TC doesn't seem scared to get close to those bloody sand walls, and other edges. It bloody well scares me, watching him do so. Woohoo Dizzy Neither he nor, Febvre were playing 'follow the leader' - both going anywhere, and everywhere to get their jobs done.

Not saying he looks fat at all. He has always looked "marvskinny" and now he just looked bigger to me.

He might be starting to take after his Dad - he's built like a Brick Shithouse!

Maybe the one with the peak off, and sanded up goggles was Bogers, as It looked like Honda Team type clothing. As I said, I'm doing my usual , middle of the night, to early morning frame making.

The winner of that 125 moto, Bonacorsi, is a tall young bloke. 16 / 17 years of age?

Anyone know the significance of the figure with what looks like horns on it's head, on the trophies being given out?

Is it part of Sardegna / Sardinian lore?

It's such a breath of fresh air to see MX, on a Sand track, during the SX season. That's not a put down of SX, for those who tend towards 'butt hurtedness' - it's just so good to see Natural Terrain being carved up.

Mixed final up - bloody hell that 250 of Prado is not lacking against the 450s, out of the gate, through the first turn!

Prado is the real deal. Damn he just makes such huge steps each year

First lap, Cairoli going from left to right across the face of a Deeply Rutted jump , was a demonstration of control and commitment. Not the sort of thing most would ever contemplate.

Gajser finally seeming to go; eff this, I'm not getting beaten by a 250, was pretty decisive, and Prado got 3rd, So, AC 1st, Tim 2nd, and, heck, the Big Young Fella, Evans, 7th, second 250 on the track. Not a bad Continental start for him.

They showed Paulin for a while - looked very smooth. And, comfortable, as they say, for 4th in that Moto.......

Leok in Eighth!

3am, bed time for Bear.

Vlaanderen did start in moto1 .. think he had a crash or so , he was racing inside top 10 but ended up 30th so no place in combined race

Pretty impressive both motos. Im hoping those 114 bikes are a little faster this year. Maybe HRC will give them some more support if Evans starts getting top 5-10 finishes in mx2.

From all accounts his dad is a nut job and from what i have heard he is super hard on Tim. Tims reusults have been hampered by a string of injuries (lots of crashes) from being under immense pressure. Another deal where he doesn’t want to offend his father by moving on thus more pressure on Tim to make it work. I hope my info is incorrect cause he seems like a great kid.

Apart from Bogo being super hard on Tim , everything written is quite correct. Sorry. Similar to Tony Alessi situation in the US.
The guy went through a lot of hardships to bring Tim to this level, but the things he says...well, you are better off not understanding Slovenian.
