2/19/2024 6:43pm So far this season has been great. Quality racing, great points battle, lots of bar banging and passes made. Multiple tracks with longer lap times (or similar to) to SX lap times. I get that its not Jett, KR, Eli, et al, but its still quality live TV racing dirtbikes Friday nights on MAV TV. Ping and Budman are great commentators (pretty dang funny too). Seems like it gets very little discussion for such a good series. What am I missing?

1/26/2024 6:35pm Thankyou I put the suggestions to good use and got the cover and plastic fitting on perfect. The heat really helped, and the socket trick was money!

1/26/2024 6:33pm If you have an extra set of hands have them grab pliers and squeeze the plastic piece through the seat so the cylinder goes through and put the cir-clip on. Same can be done solo with a small c clamp. For future projects Guts Racing seat foam and covers have worked great for me on this bike and other projects. I'd avoid cutting your seat cover.

1/25/2024 10:15pm Get the circlip on as good as you can, and take a socket that goes around it, and give it a tap with a ball pein while pushing the plastic thing through the seat. Should seat the circlip into the groove

1/25/2024 10:15pm I have just removed the plastic thing, stapled the cover on like normal and put the plastic piece back on. I have Motoseat make my covers. We sell guts covers too. I've only installed our motoseat made covers on that generation KTM. But they work out fine. After you put the plastic back on it just squishes it. Other than the bolt hole , if Your cover is not made with it already. I would not cut the cover . Putting the cover on inside a warm place and keeping it warm for a day or 2 after would also...

1/25/2024 3:18pm Hey putting a new seat cover on my 23' SXF. Usually no biggie, but the new ktm's have that plastic fitting at the tank end of the seat that fits into a depression in the foam and is on top of the seat cover. the oem cover is thin & stretchy and conforms to the depression, but the new cover...

1/20/2024 9:11pm Yeah Anderson isn't really the guy you want to have on your bad side 😬 I like Jett and Jason equally but I feel like Jett was pissed he got held up by Anderson and this is the 450 class no one is going to move over for you either pass them or move them.

1/20/2024 6:21am It's tough, being an RMZ is thebike in question. I think if you had a Yam, Hon or even KTM then it would be worth considering a TD Vortex. If you aren't raising the rev limiter more than 200rpm, I don't think it's going to make the 250 high strung or unreliable. And of course there are a lot of positives to having a 250, as far as handling and if it fits your riding style. That being said, I'd lean to a 350 or 450. But if it was a different brand 250 then it would be a harder...

1/14/2024 11:36am I only knew Mike from a few races, those races you go to that are out of your "norm" and you really don't know many people. 1/9/2024 11:16am Have you gone to carbon wheels too? That's the best (and most expensive) upgrade you can do on a bike. No matter how steep the trail, riding a bike just doesn't feel the same as "dancing" with a dirtbike, at least to me.

FHKRacingZ Liked a reply to forum topic Has anyone tried nitrogen in air forks?
12/30/2023 4:19pm Anytime you heat a gas you will experience pressure change. Thermal transfer rates of different gases is huge, and why truckers keep a consistent blend for efficiency in their tires. Outgassing through the rubber is a old wise tale. Yes a tire can outgas but not nearly at the rate you will destroy it with use lol. The guy claiming nitrogen makes no difference than regular atmosphere must of missed a basic chemistry class. Atmospheric air, even if ran through a filter dryer, is totally inconsistent. Being inconsistent means different blend of gases that expand at different rates...Which means finding...
