Being dialed in at round 1 is a huge accomplishment. Vialle is a contender, and Herlings is adapted well, great sign for hrc.

The had to pay Lucas Coenen (who is 12 years younger) to keep him from going stateside. Word is Jeffery wanted a lot of money for 2026, and KTM couldn't pay big money to both riders. FWIW, I think it's better for MXGP that JH went to Honda - now he has something to prove, up until today he had never raced anything but a KTM for 17 seasons.

So it pissed you off that he got tired and finished 4th in his second GP moto on a 450?

Vialle is RIPPING on the 450! I'll admit I did not see that coming. Perhaps nor did anyone else in the US which may account for why he didn't remain stateside. But yeah, Herlings... still animal-style after all these years. Everything new across the board and he's still at the front. Impressive!

Herlings is awesome, but it's one race out of 19 for Coenen so let's not bury him.

I don’t know if it’s because of the 450, or just being back in the GPs, but I don’t ever remember seeing Vialle that aggressive when he was in the states. Dude was hauling ass for sure.

Herlings pass for the lead in the 2nd moto was badass. Cut down so far inside he was on dry sand where nobody had been all day.

I thought his pass on vialle was sick too, sent it down that hill and finessed just past vialle from the outside ! He meant business! Vialle and Adamo showed some real promise on 450s as well!

My first year signing up for the package. I'm glad I did. That was some good racing. Track was fast but still fun looking. That step up triple and that big downhill launch were epic. Herlings was a little of a surprise based off the two preseason races he had but Vialle was way better than I expected. Adamo was fast but fell off the pace both motos. Simon should clean house in the MX2. Sascha did Sascha things but was the fastest. Hope he isn't hurt too bad. Everts looked good but will need a little more speed. I...

Hunter had a few self inflicted moments that were far worse. Maybe spend a bit more time and energy on making better race decisions. Dude is leading the championship and won the night. WTF is he whining about.

What is he even referring to? The only race he had to pass Prado was the 1st. Tomac went by Prado in the Whoops. Hunter was behind Prado for one 90 degree turn before he gave him his "body english" for holding him up for 10 seconds. Sheesh

I used to not like Herlings because of how he came across in his 250 days, but man I’m really pulling for him now. He was on it today

Hrc has the new crf450 dialed in for round 1. Febvre making the Kawi look good. As usual. And Vialle! Good for him. He was ripping all weekend no doubt

Yes definitely in an era where they are getting a lot of good results .. I think it was 5 Honda riders in top 10 in race 2 ?

I had the right top 5, just not in the right order. This is going to be a good year to watch the GP’s. Simon might rough up the MX2 class a bit.

with amount of down votes I need to rewatch it looks like and not be pissed off at Vialle for laying up and the effort in moto 2

Honda has a very strong team

It most definitely is worth it in my opinion too , it just the point of it all. Oh well I'm not going to fuss over to bad , as I now have more moto than I can possibly watch. And the 450 class over there this year seems stacked as heck. Should be some great racing.

And going to make KTM look like complete idiots for letting him go. Does he break easy, sure but when he is healthy he is almost impossible to beat.

Yeah insane, KTM really pulled the wrong reign here....
