I did this on my 2002 CRF450 (and many others). Performance wise, I didn't notice much difference. There are so many variations of exhausts available it can't be much different that either one end of the spectrum or the other. You can probably get another can for $100 on eBay if you mangle yours so it seem it would be worth the risk. On my Honda in 2002 I drilled the rivets from the back end of the can. What's a good fork rebuild kit that includes all the bushings seals ect..and what oil are y'all using?.. I'm looking for the highest quality fork seals that don't leak or have a ton of sticking and bushings that are quality not cheap junk! Whats you guys's experience with this?..Thanks in advance Bike is a 2023 KX450

Damn you had to go ahead and bring the CRF 450WE into it LOL.. THAT'S REALLY THE BIKE I WANTED EVER SINCE THE 25S CAME OUT A FEW MONTHS AGO..LOL .But then again I don't know I ain't got no real time on my KX I've got pro circuit ported head full exhaust pro circuit remat pro circuit revive suspension...

Ya see I disagree..I'd say 1000 out of 1000 will benefit from race fuel..Why?.. because feeling good or I'll say feeling better about your bike's performance especially engine performance feeling like your bike is improved is just that.. a feeling!! and isn't that a benefit I know I feel like the small noticeable improvement in race gas benefits me simply...
I don't know maybe cuz they're smart enough to know that race wins and exposure on TV isn't the only thing that sells bikes.. Maybe they're smart enough to know that vet riders are the majority of people buying dirt bikes nowadays.. Hell, they might even look at KTM and realize just how wildly popular the fuel injected electric start...
