3/29/2026 6:25pm That's super helpful, thank you. I was quoted $11,900 OTD including a $500 deposit. No sales tax in NH.

3/29/2026 2:28pm How hard was it to find a RWE? I contacted a bunch of dealers in new england but haven't had any luck finding one. Only one dealer in northern NH said they could special order one with a deposit but it would take several months.

4/25/2025 12:26pm Thanks my friend! Drilled out the rivets holding on the tip and basically grind/file away the brake arm until it matched the angle for the Pro Pegs KTM replacement brake pedal. Once there, drill and tap, done. Time consuming but I sure think its worth it...

RMguy Added a reply to Ride Engineering Triple Clamps/Bar Mount Fitment on 07 RM250?
9/6/2024 10:42am Wow. Thank you for the detailed explanation. Do you offer any mounts that would fit these triple clamps? For a 1 1/8" bar

9/6/2024 7:26am Bought a set of Ride Engineering Triple Clamps and bar mounts for my 2007 RM250 and not sure this is right. I contacted RE and they told me that the arrows on the mounts should be pointing together (which they are). I tried multiple ways but it seems like the bar mount is too wide. Anyone experience this fitment with...

RMguy Started a new thread RM250 Showa RG3 Forks and Shock?
8/17/2021 3:32pm Recently purchased these forks and rear shock for my 2007 RM250 and not entirely sure what I have here. They were advertised as rebuilt by RG3 and came off a 2004 RM250. I took the forks apart to inspect the internals, check the bushings and replaced the oil in both chambers. I'm pretty green with suspension tear downs but didn't...

8/17/2021 3:32pm The spring tube looks like it's from the rm250 showas, I think the Honda used a spring seat held onto the cartridge with a clip in a recess

8/17/2021 3:32pm Only the 2004 rm250 had those fork caps/ base valves, 17mm across the flats from memory. Similar to the showas that came on the rm125. In 05, they went to the bigger cartridge showas with a larger piston and 19mm across the flats base valve that was recessed into the fork cap. All were 47mm fork tubes. I can't remember, but maybe the crf450 showas around that time had similar anodizing on the cartridge?

8/17/2021 3:32pm Those are definitely the proper generation Suzuki twin chamber fork for the 04-08 RM250. I’ve never seen a set that wasn’t 47mm or A-kit 49mm. To me it seems like a B-kit 47mm fork with anodized lugs, DLC lowers and stripped OEM uppers. That groove is for the fork guard guide that clamps on OEM Suzuki tubes. The shock must be a stock 2004 model with a DLC shaft. 01-03 RM250s had KYB and the 05-08 had the larger 18mm shaft.

8/17/2021 2:25pm Thank you so much! I've been scrolling through google image searches of everything I can think of to search for. Did some re-measuring of the lower fork tubes and consistently getting 47.7mm with a few spots near 48mm. Any upgrades you would recommend for this set? I do have the stock 07 RM250 forks/shock that was rebuilt by FC a...

6/6/2021 1:19pm For the clutch side crankshaft seal, do you recall which orientation it was when you installed it? Most bikes have this seal oriented where the metal portion of the crank seal faces outward. The later RM250s were the opposite. The crank side seal should have the metal side facing in and the black rubber "U" portion facing out. Another thing...

5/4/2020 12:52pm Hey I've messed around quite a bit with 100LL and different premixes on my 07 RM250 and had a similar issue. What are you running for premix? I bet the premix seperated from the gas and is sitting at the bottom of the tank and gunked up the petcock or clogged your pilot jet. 927 will seperate from 100LL pretty...
RMguy Started a new thread Factory Bikes, Titanium Cranks and Camshafts?
7/5/2019 10:33pm Was watching a few Mitch Payton videos about factory sx/mx motors and it got me thinking... What are the odds that factory teams are using titanium for major moving components like the camshaft, crank, etc.? Seems like it would make sense to remove mass from these as long as they can hold up. Can't imagine how expensive that would be...

5/7/2019 12:10am Long time lurker, especially on the bike build section but finally joined. I have a 2007 RM250 that I've brought back from the dead.
