Magoo all the way. Met him when I was on 50's, he was parked next to us at a tiny little track in SE KS. He was there with what I assume was his girlfriend, just before he hit the bigtime, this was 1981. He was in a mini truck, with no trailer, didn't even have folding chairs to sit on, nor did he seem to care.... tailgate would work just fine. I vividly remember him cheering for me, with her, as I blasted around this little track as fast as my YZinger would let me go..... He even went...
Hi guys Just wanted to pop in to say hello, I tried to log in to my old account (TOE) but have no idea what my old email was… it’s been at least a decade and Danya (TOES) had that all under control back then. We’re divorced now… and she’s … let’s just say “indisposed” so it’d be a bit tough finding that info from my end… and especially hers (lol) Anyway, I just received my new Nikon Z9 yesterday (after 4 months of waiting) and a couple of base mirrorless lenses, I’m hoping to be fully kitted back up...
Eli. Switches to Yamaha and pushes to the front. Get's good-great starts! What the...? Starts? Eli?! Yup, Eli. Looks like the smoothly aggressive guy we saw on the Honda soooo many years, ago. Some may say it's his personal vindication towards or with Kawasaki...? You might wanna keep reading before you do. Yamaha. Uh...can we forget the whole "Blue Pig" thing, already? Notice how well ALL the Yamahas look in the Whoops? Notice how they all seem to empower the riders to cut-under in turns when necessary? Seems like one of the best handling bikes on the track. El Hombré...
I watched the replay a dozen times in super slow mo and freeze framing it as I went to the point of contact. My conclusion was he was battling for the lead, brain farted and came in too hot, had ZERO option of trying to make a move for the inside line, split second decision takes him into the outside line where he tried to stay inside of Craig. Momentum took him into Craig and they both ate shit. I never saw any intent to take Craig out. Since nobody here has it ever will be battling for the lead...
I am a dentist (who is obsessed with dirtbikes) in Scottsdale AZ and with Glendale supercross coming up this weekend I wanted to offer any privateers a free exam/treatment for any urgent dental needs on Friday morning (2/4). Being on the road I would assume it’s hard to schedule doctor/dental appointments and the cost of emergency dental care can be expensive. Only urgent needs please. Broken tooth Infection Pain Extractions Ect. No cleanings or treatment that needs multiple visits (unless you live in AZ or can come back) Non racers, please do not email or ask for advice on your...
Email me when you think you can post again without personally attacking other members or can stay out of Covid topics without being a…well, you know. Your account is locked. Somehow, no matter how many times I type this out lately, some people are just not listening. Do not personally attack members, especially with a sort of threat of death. And also, stay out of Covid and political topics if you can’t debate or just discuss it without instantly jumping to shit slinging.
That there are going to be vaccine mandates for the riders coming like 1 week from the opening round. This way they won’t have time to organize a response😁. The riders should be proactive here and they will need help considering many are undereducated and also completely consumed with riding/training/trying to not die at deathcross. I know what some of you may be thinking but, yes this is moto related because; well, its got to do with moto.
In my experience its great for training through an injury. Decent for building muscle. Not great for increasing strength, endurance or athleticism. It is super intense if you follow the Mike Mentzer type program.
Having lived California for nearly my entire life, and escaping the lunacy that is the government there, how does anyone look at Newsom and think, “Wow, he is absolutely killing it for the people of California. The quality of life has improved so much with him pulling the strings.”?
My lovely wife surprised the heck out of me by picking up a 2022 yz250! So fricken cool. She even supplied the pipe porn. I really hope she keeps me around a while longer. 😍 Thanks Lady, I appreciate you! Today I put about 2 hours on it while riding some fresh wet dirt. I can happily report that the 22yz is a definite upgrade from the last gen. Ergos are so much better! It just puts you in a better spot for the bike to work with you instead of against you. And it’s super slim. I did get...
