They should never stop making the XR650. In 75 years it will still be a great bike.

There are a handful of sports where women can go toe to toe with the dudes. Ultra endurance running, cycling, some rock climbing disciplines. I'm sure there are others but those are the ones i'm familiar with. The west coast off road women rip. They are consistently in the mix with the top end A guys and slower "pro" dudes...

This guy only likes watching dudes ride. Which I guess is fine. It is pride month.

The top ladies of WMX are Pro for a reason. Sure, they aren't as fast as the National Pro guys, but they would easily beat the local A riders that run Pro class.

Rachel Gutish showed up to one of our hare scramble series last year. She signed up for AA (pro class) and got 8th overall for the day. 8th out of 16 AA guys and only had 1 A guy beat her. She isn’t in the top in GNCC women’s and still beat a ton of our pro class guys. She would nothing compared to these MX girls, they are crazy fast. Anyone down talking them are disrespectful and don’t truly understand how fast they are going. Someone mentioned Jordan Jarvis doing MX before. She was impressive but I also don’t...

From the PR guy --- more KX (different displacement) models are coming in the future. Kawasaki intends to become very competitive in the off-road market.

It's gotta be because the engineers/testers thought it was a good package? Cc doesn't matter to the vast majority of hobbyist off-road racers. In my part of the west anyway. Most riders are age/ski based (if you ride over 30 expert dez there is no cc rule). Hell, the pro 250 guys are right there in the mix with 450...

For what its worth, Ready to Ride Rentals out of AZ beats the living hell out of his Kove 450's and says he loves them. Tons of hours of hard use and he says they keep going. The Kove 450 will be the closest to a dirt bike and allow you to ride any single track you are brave enough for. The Tenere (when properly set up) will still give you some pause before the singletrack as its still gonna be a lot of bike to muscle out. The AJP PR7 is a unicorn bike but really hard to find...

90/10 means single cylinder to me, unless that 90 is mostly graded easy dirt road type stuff. Ymmv. I personally don't think the 300 rally would be a good choice but I'm just some random dude on the internet.

Again, Chinese, but the kove 450 rallys are really well reviewed. They are 9k new. Only real rally bike for sale to public. They've been out long enough that some guys have put mega miles on them without problem. Successfully completed dakar ect. Ajp pr7 is a super cool bike in this niche too, if you can find one. I...

I think the biggest questions are what are your riding buddies going to be on, where are you going to be riding, and what does adventure riding mean to you. Dirt bikes with huge tanks make for great hardcore adventure bikes if you live/ride somewhere you can stay off the highway and graded dirt roads. Is adventure riding boondocking up...

Bike sat for 24 years in my father in laws shed. Last dealership bike I got before I quit racing SX. It’s got less the 20 hours from new. I did replace the reed cage and boot to Boyessen rad valve, also put 06 suspension on it. I do have 2 sets of 2001 forks and shocks I’ll include with a set of old complete rims. $2300 located in Phelan ca .
