Ex Donny Schmidt factory Showas (sold a few years ago) HRC swingarm from 78, not sure if 125 or 250 (still have) HRC clutch basket for 78-80 250 (still have) Authentic FFF swingarm in the middle (still have, mounted to 79 Cr250) and some aftermarket "replicas" (both gone) Box of Fox Airshox (Still have a few pair of 17.5 and 17.75, but mix probably different now) NOS 1979 Cr250R crate engine (still have). Pretty cool one off 78-80 Cr250 rear engine mount Kenny Tyson (TyDog) cut for me. Kenny is gold.

I think the Same as you as to the Orientation. But, I'm a great fan of Checking things. The Resi end / Valve travel a Looooong way, what with the travel within that shock - looking to compress right level with, or perhaps, past the spring / clip interface. And, the Shock mounts don't appear to be 'outwards' much, if at all, from the actual swingarm 'leg'. And, no 'pocketing' for clearance - which, of course, indicates there's no need for such a thing. With the geometry of 'laid down' shocks, mounted far back on the swingarm, the angle formed...

These photos could tell two completely different stories by the end of this championship. Nice work!

Brian made a living playing the villain, and so that the only roll he knows….plus, I think part of him really likes that his son is winning in the industry that he feels rejected him…so he tries to inject his rebel/outsider attitude/image into his sons success (by comments like this, and by the way he is mentoring his son) as a way of sticking it to the establishment. It’s all an act and calculated if you ask me…I think it’s a dumb act, but an act nonetheless…

I was able to takeoff the Simons forks, and install the 39 mm showa forks last night. I’m very happy with the bike. Can’t wait for the Shocks to arrive so I can finish this project.

These are the shocks I will be installing on the bike after they are refurbished. They are the same Shocks that were on the factory RC Hondas in 1979.
