At the same point in Cole's career he has had a lot more success then Deegan and I'd say more success than Jett
Davies giving Deegan a lesson what it'll be like in the 450s. A lot of guys in the 250 class would just let Haiden do what Haiden does. 450s, not so much, they'll race and tussle back. Good to see someone in Haide's talent category. That kid has mad skills but also attitude. He'll need to earn that respect in the 450s.

It does seem like deegan respects people more who race him back like he races them, with tonights racing and kitchen's Seattle battle earlier this year.

No they don't. The only one who has Deegan's resume on a 250 is Jett. Hunter, Eli, Chase, (insert any other 450 rider) does not have 2 250 regional sx titles, and 2 250 outdoor titles. Don't make things up just because you don't like Deegan.
Deegan wins 8 in a row, including 2 E/W showdowns, and when he loses one, his haters act like his career just ended. But the truth is, Deegan is calling the 450m class, and if they don't pick up, he's gonna send a message.

The 2010-2013 250 field and talent was absolutely fucking nuts. Really can't compare that to the current 250 field where we have 2 consistent riders and everyone else is just crashing their brains out.

I don’t know how things will go for Deegan in the 450 class but I suspect we’ll see more tough racing so if he had fun tonight he should have a great time in the 450 class. I’m looking forward to seeing it!
If he passes dudes and keeps racing forward, he’ll be ok. If he passes dudes and tries the fuck-fuck games, it’s going to be pretty painful for him until the lesson sinks in.
You know, without doubt, HD is absolutley seething with went down last night. Definitley not a storybook ending to his 250 career.
Only in SX. Deegs was a beast in outdoors from day one and was in title contention his rookie season against Hunter. Cole needs to start winning outdoor titles this year in dominant fashion to be on Haiden and Jett’s level.

This will be Cole's first full mx season. Neither Deegz nor Jett were dominant in their first mx season. Hunter spotted Deegz about 50 points. He wasn't on Hunter's level outside of Washougal.
In some twisted way i think people are underrating Davies, or at least a vocal part of the fans and even media are a bit like meh is he that good?
This kid is most likely going to be a front runner the day he gets on a 450 indoors. And i think he will be good outdoors aswell, definitely top-3 outdoors this season in the 250 class.
Cole is mid compared to Deegan. Sure he got Deegan last night, but that was on Haiden for playing cat and mouse. Had he not done that, he would have passed Cole back and left him in the Utah dust. But it is what it is. On to the 450 class.
And, unlike crying about the take out, Deegan loved it and gave props to Cole after the race.
Cole’s stats are actually better than Deegans at the moment. Please yoink Deegans balls out of your 60 year old mouth.
I know Deegan was playing it off and was acting all nonchalant.. but that was an ass whooping and he knows it. How many guys catch and pass Deegan after Deegan hole shots and then makes Deegan ride over his head to keep up causing multiple mistakes. Media was giving Deegan this superhuman can’t be beat mantra and Davies just obliterated the narrative.
"Title contention" is generous. Finished nearly 2 motos back in 4th place overall on the season. Hunter also DNF'd 2 motos.
I'm sure it felt close for a moment mid-season to some folks...
Deegz is the better sx rider. He should be. It's his forth sx season. Cole is far superior for being in his second sx season. In sx, at least. I dont think its a stretch to say Cole is just more talented, period. Whether he puts in the work to be the best like Haiden, we'll see
