I don't think it's a matter of if, but when, WSX folds. I'm more curious to see if SMX and all that purse money continues on once the threat of WSX is vanquished. "Gee guys, the money in the new TV contract just wasn't there this time..."

WSX will go in only one direction, a travelling circus with some races per year with fixed rider team. Kind of like monster trucks. Only way to make some money of the low quality arenas, poor operational management and lack of production capability they seem to suffer from. If you want to participate in the world championship league, you cant line up with mainly divison/level 3 riders and team. That ain't how it works. Now it has been tainted, and sponsors and other dont want to be associated with b-level stuff and shaky owner situation. Not to mention the low...

I am debating the fact they changed the rules to allow the varg and re-changed them to prevent it as is being stated. Beagle keeps insisting they built a bike to the rules. What rules? Should not be difficult for him to answer. I understand they gave them permission to race and pulled the plug. Not the same thing.

I don’t believe you unless you are word smithing. I know personally a guy who raced wsx this year. He was paid by the team a per round salary. He expected more rounds so he definitely wasn’t paid what he expected for the season. I have no reason to doubt his word and he said all(don’t know if that’s a literal all or majority) the riders are paid per race.
