So we're 8 motos in now. When is deegan actually going to get into Jett's head like the bed bugs have been saying?

Deegs didn't start his childish antics when he got on the gate with the Jett. That's been his MO since day one. Also, I personally want to see Jett challenged. Not because I want Jett to lose... But because I want to see racing. However, if the challenger is an immature, cocky, braggart, I'd rather the challenger eat a big plate of crow. I wasn't a fan of Jason Lawrence because of the same immature antics. Deegs work ethic is admirable. His sportsmanship, on the other hand, is straight from a movie where they attempt to over emphasize the good...

"He's kind of challenging Jett." How? Has he made a pass stick? Led a moto? Paced Jett more than a couple laps without cutting the track? Its a stretch to say he's challenging Hunter but I'll be nice and just give you that. Hunter has 4 moto wins and is challenging Jett. But sure, Deegz is challenging Hunter. All I see is the brothers pushing each other.

Deegan obviously has speed, but for actual results at the moment he's just the best of the rest. Still yet to finish a moto closer than 8 seconds to the leader. Four rounds in and he's one-and-a-half moto's worth of points down.

He pretty much did that in Saturday’s qualfying when he went out and put almost 2 seconds on Deegan’s best time, just because he wanted to (I don’t know if 2 seconds was his goal, or if he was just proving a point, though). Deegan tried running another fast lap before time ran out, but he couldn’t even beat his own best time much less Jett’s.

You watch his last lap he totally overrode the bike almost like he was forcing it to go faster, sometimes you go slower to go faster

It's funny that some are assuming others don't like Deegan just because they're Jett fans.. Couldn't be any other reason surely haha

Minear read him like a book. Very impressive from such a young rider. That being said, Shimoda shouldn't be getting out smarted by a rookie. His race craft is definitely the weakest area of his skillset

Deegan clearly tried to interfere with Jett's fast lap in practice 1. That shouldn't be okay

just to be clear - i didn't expect D-bag to win, don't care if he ever wins, and don't like all of his bs. if it matters (and it don't) i'm a Tomac guy. hope he makes it back but there may be more to his injuries than we all know. going back to the original post.....i'm mostly giving D-bags Dangerboyz crap for all the 1-1 posts preseason

Only way 38 wins is runs his moto 2 lap 15 pace every lap. My personal unbiased opinion is that 96 was gone, 18 was in no man’s land and was either bored or checked out, 38 runs his best lap on 15 and Jett responded and ran his best lap on 16. If 38 ran his lap 15 pace the entire moto he could’ve won.

Jett’s quiet confidence bothers Deegan so much it’s hilarious.
