Just to think…only a few short months ago, Steve’s friend Jamie had a long, greasy ponytail and was on the fringes of moto media; running a show about a “show” (that rarely ever incorporated the guests of said “show). Now he’s breaking news like Walter Cronkite in the aftermath of the Tet Offensive. Unreal. Steve is an American hero. In all seriousness though, great to read this and thank you Darkside!

I'll disagree, and I'm being serious here. First off, you don't need the needle to add bulk in a reasonable manner. Increased calories from proper diet will give you an easy increase in muscle mass combined with weight training. If you have muscle built over your upper chest/shoulders/trapezius from doing incline bench press, shoulder press, and shrugs there will be muscle to absorb impacts instead of just skin and bones up there. I like this thread. If these guys would just add 1 day of muscle maintenance during the race season, and a "bulk" phase during the off season they...

I figured I would give an update. I sold my Yamaha and bought the 18 250sxf on Saturday. I got a couple practices on a rutty track and the bike handles amazing compared to my Yamaha. I felt comfortable right away and was already faster in a couple sections than I was before. Thanks to everyone for the replies, I'm glad I bought one.

I remember thinking Keefe was a giant dick on that episode of MotoSpy(?) from last season with Hartranft...but Hartranft said he liked it that way so who knows?
