Yes please. Grates takeaway the qualifying advantage and imo although possibly level the playing field off the start it gives an unfair advantage to factory teams who can dial in a map to a condition with no variables ( the grate) and also, as everyone knows without the variability in launch everyone ends up at turn 1 so much closer together resulting in more crashes.

Good. Anything that adds more skill to starting and makes it harder to just set up a 'perfect' map will make starts more interesting and create more separation as the riders hit the first corner

I'm just amazed anyone wants to touch him sponsor/team wise after he put a bounty on his own teammate that one year in WSX. In my mind that should get you blackballed from the sport. But moto is weird sometimes

I don't remember any other races like this for Dungey. Dungeys ride at Southwick in 2011 will always be a favourite of mine. To start almost a full lap down and finish 7th - on a brutal track - was amazing.

I love feel good stories. I never really have 1 guy to root for. These riders take so many risks every week for my entertainment, for me they can all win Farres winning the MX2 World Championship after all his injuries Kenny winning his first 450SX title after all his injuries (even though Hunter winning it would have been wonderful too) Jett winning outdoors last year after his knee injury Davies coming from NZ and winning his way into the pro ranks Herlings winning another title in his first year on the Honda and multiple injuries last few years Febvre...

I'll never forget seeing Eli go full "real" beast mode to catch up to Dyaln at Washougal 2021, then Dylan wicked it up and just straight up held him off. Beat Eli at his best.

Dude was ferocious in 2021, shame we only saw flashes of that Dylan since. Was a fan after he didn't take any shit from dumbasses.

His 450 title is one of the most underrated titles in the modern history. He absolutely laid a beatdown on guys like Tomac and Roczen.

Damn.. Going to miss Dylan at the races, his 21 450 outdoor championship season was one of my all time favorites to watch as a fan, because his enthusiasm for winning was almost contagious. You could tell he never took winning for granted. That he never got to properly defend it was a shame. Great racer and great career. You have to respect that he's just not interested in doing it just for the money. If he can't compete for win's, better to just call it a career on your own terms. Wish him well in his retirement.

Not surprised but still sucks to hear that. Since 22 I've been hoping to see the 21 Dylan back. I still watch back races from that year today, he was so damn fun to watch. Congrats on a great career!
