PC Added a reply to Any Subaru owners?
12/30/2014 1:05pm My wife got a new Forester XT earlier this year and it's a pretty nice vehicle. Great motor, but I am not loving the CVT trans and really wish they offered it with a manual trans..... anyway, we finally took it to the mountain a few weeks ago and the AWD system really works. Even with the stock tires the...

PC Added a reply to Strange things you have seen whilst out riding
12/30/2014 9:57am I saw a man die last year at Eddieville GP course during the 6hr race. I was on my first lap and saw 2 bystanders performing chest compressions on someone and the 2nd lap (20 mins later) the ambulance had arrived. I later heard he had a heart attack. It was a terrible feeling motoring on by knowing a man...
PC Added a reply to no toil filter oil
12/22/2014 6:12pm I really didn't mean that like it sounded. I was making light of the fact that I really can go 6 months without touching an air filter! But then I go summer riding in the sierra and I go through a filter a day. I bet the SW states keep the filtration businesses humming along!

12/22/2014 4:20pm Weeks? I wont change an air filter until next July! I usually swamp a bike 3-4 times before I decide to change the filter during the winter.
PC Added a reply to Ultra Heavy Duty Tubes
12/22/2014 4:14pm Depends on how stiff the sidewalls are on whatever tires you're running. I've ran UHD tubes with Motoz I/T tires down to 7-8lbs without issues, but I wouldn't try that on some lightweight carcass moto tires.
PC Added a reply to DT1 filters
12/22/2014 2:25pm I use no toil with no issues. I was a tried and true Twin Air user, but I thing the DT-1 filters feel way better quality. It's all I use anymore.
PC Added a reply to no toil filter oil
12/22/2014 2:24pm I've never had issues with the red alcohol based no toil, but I had 3 filters glue fail after switching to the green stuff. No toil replaced all my filters and sent me a gallon of the red stuff, which was awesome customer support IMO. Moral of the story.... dont switch from the red to green. Pick on and stick...
PC Added a reply to Do you think he has a TUE?
12/12/2014 9:07am Awesome! Good on you dude. I love going into a clinic and them asking 'what ails you, dude?' and I give my usual response 'reality.... got any cure for it?' And then out comes the BHO... haha! I love hanging with MMJ peeps.

12/11/2014 9:58am You lightweights better stay away from oil then. It's a whole new level of paranoia

12/11/2014 9:01am Dude! No wonder you never want to go trail riding with me. I wouldn't want to leave that place either! You've got it going on down there Patrick! Very nice....

12/11/2014 8:59am Everyone is the PNW is baked, especially trail riders. It's considered bad taste to not offer a puff to passing strangers as they motor on by.

12/4/2014 10:46am I've got an ortho appt. tomorrow, but depending on how that goes I'll try to make it out next week. I saw some hcam footage and it looks just my style....
PC Added a reply to Official LECTRON CARB Review - 2 Stroke - 2002 CR250
12/1/2014 4:08pm I've been running a 36mm Lectron for a little over a year in my Husky 165 and I love it. I primarily ride in the back country , so smooth power and fuel efficiency are key to me. I can get 80+ miles from my 3 gal tank, the power is seamless thanks to no overlapping circuits and it really...
PC Added a reply to Wow! Another buddy just joined the 2 stroke club!
11/7/2014 10:01am Thanks for inviting me, FUCKER! Just kidding. I'm actual heading down to Bend tonight to ride some dez. I want to ride a rm250 of that era. I recently sold my yz285 cause I thought it handled like shit and rode like a 2x4, but I loved the handling of Smoker's old cr250r. Wondering if I'd like the Zuki even...

PC Started a new thread Plessinger @ MEC
10/28/2014 11:30am Maybe I missed the thread talking about it, but this kid looked incredible last Sat. He had solid starts and then marched straight to the front in both motos. And he interviews well, IMO. Kinda reminds me of Everts riding on his feet and using his length to his advantage. Admittedly, I dont know shit from shat, but I think...

10/13/2014 2:39pm Thanks for the invite Jeff and sorry I couldn't make it yesterday. I was out riding though
Did a epic 150 mile DS ride from Zig Zag to Wamic and back to Hood via Bennett Pass. I shoulda got a dual sport years ago.....

10/7/2014 10:50am Try a Lectron carb. After having one for a year I'll never go back to a multi-circuit carb ever again. Better mileage, super smooth power (no overlapping circuits) and top end pulls forever. Far better than a traditional carb IMO.

9/3/2014 10:08am Sorry to bump and old thread, but I thought I'd let everyone know my 14' 500exc had about ZERO grease in the hemispherical lower shock bearing. The swingarm bearings had a decent amount from the factory, but still got cleaned and filled with waterproof grease. Haven't gotten to the headset yet, but will in the next few days. $10k bike...
PC Added a reply to Look what is waiting for Dungey
8/15/2014 9:21am Ha! Great post OP. I like Dungey as a fellow human, but the only time I've ever truly rooted for him on the bike was at the 2010 MXDN in CO. Anyway, I am so stoked on this 450 title chase and Dungey's late season push. I really like Kenny and I'm not trying to let me red, white and...
