So another buddy of mine sent me a text tonight and said he picked up this little gem. Said he was talking to someone else , when another dude who overheard them talking piped up and said " I have a bike you may be interested in " The guy told my buddy what he had , which was a damn near brand new 2008 RM 250 he bought in 2010....and he only rode it twice.

So my buddy went and looked at it , said you could tell it had even been ridden. I guess less than 4hrs on it. Basically a " barn find " if you will. Picked it up for an even $3000.00.






I swear.....I'm starting a 2 stroke revolution out here in the NW! Silly Grinning

Travis or anyone else interested.....this is my RM its super low hours as well and I took REALLY good care of it

Brand New Dunlops with 2 rides on them
2 rides on a wiseco top end
V-Force, All plastics are original I just removed the Mfg stickers off the rear, chain and sprockets are fresh as well with a gold chain, stiffer springs, rims have zero dings or scratches, works connection frame guards and radiator braces, FMF Fatty and Powercore Silencer ...not a single ding in it. 3200 or 3000 if you or anyone wants it. This thing was my baby and I never planned on selling it. Has maybe 15-20 hours on it and I have the pink....sorry guys for the spam but I really need to sell it and I know RM's are the holy grail because I own one and it IS amazing!

Another cool part about this story was that my buddy sold his RMZ450 about 1.5yrs ago and was basically just going to hang up his boots for good. He got married , bought a house and was just planning on doing other things. When he was talking to the one guy , it was just a stroke of luck that the other guy happened to of heard them over talking. My buddy said he was thinking of maybe trying to find an older 2 stroke to just go out and play around on. I was like " Damn....$3000.00 is what I just paid for my 06' RC replica bike! "

And just a few days ago , my buddy BigdaddyG on here.....picked up a 2005 KX 250 for $2200.00 which is in really good shape to.

Gonna be a lot of " Braaaapppp'n " this coming summer bro's!

JW and Tracktor.......Me and some buddies are planning on hitting Riverdale tomorrow if you guys are interested. I'm testing out the new exhaust , suspension and my little JD jetting ECU box on my Kawi 450. It's been sitting for 5 months so I need to blow the cob webbs out!

I might want to hit some trails soon w/'some friends, I have an incert for my RMZ but I think the 2 stroke would be better for Pi Pi / Stonyford. Easier to kick over if I stall it Smile

I want to ride a rm250 of that era. I recently sold my yz285 cause I thought it handled like shit and rode like a 2x4, but I loved the handling of Smoker's old cr250r. Wondering if I'd like the Zuki even more.

No problem Justin! We'll try and get together for at least a couple more rides this fall if we get a break on this weather. For me....it's hit-n-miss because I never know when I have work coming in. Want to get a few more good rides in before the weather turns to complete crap!
